Works straight out of the box. I have one of those old budget Sony Blu-ray players and its remote died (chiefly from leaving the batteries to leak when not in use). So, lesson learned; this new remote is basically the same remote for that model of Sony Blu-ray player. Put two AA batteries in, and it's literally a freaking clone. Sony is discontinuing all of its Blu-ray players going forward from 2026, so you may want to stockpile a few of these just in case.

Does work with the 370 series Sony dvd.
Compatible with older Sony DVD blu-rays. Simple to get to assign to your player. Works beautifully looks amazing. Does not come with instructions. Has a very easy look up on Google. And you hold the TV button and power button until it aligns to your system.
