Great quality, non slip
Heavy and very shiny, great quality, non-slip bottom. Good for chasing. The shiny surface seems non tarnishing. I have had cheaper square ones that get rusty just from humid air exposure. Worth a couple extra bucks for this one.

Great Little Pounding Block
Perfect size for using with my little hammer I also bought here on Amazon. I use them for pounding letter into old spoons to create gifts with kind words on them. Great value , quality and perfect thickness for pounding. Made well. Should last a long time.

Sturdy for stamping
I was trying to use the stamping tool for decoration and creating jewelry. I was trying it on a wooden block and tried concrete oh man it was pathetic this metal block is very good and never moves when stamping. The rubber bottom holds the base sturdy. Must have if you are doing it professionally

Nice little disk!
I got this disk to use for straightening a bent blade. It worked quite well with a hammer that I got with the disk. I didn't want an anvil and this worked well for a smaller surface to pound metal on.

Perfect base for magnetic morse key.
Perfect for a magnetic morse paddle. I lightly dulled the surface with a fine grit sandpaper on this plate along with the faces of the magnets on the paddle to get a stable coupling between the magnets and this plate. Exactly what I needed for portable CW work.

It is small so suitable for small and delicate jobs but it is very sturdy and heavy and I like the rubber at the bottom which muffles the sound.

Nice size for hammering jewelry wire. It is smooth and the rubber/silicone base keeps it in place and muffles the sound. It's solid with a nice weight. Along with my new Chasing hammer, I flattened some jewelry wire and it was great...flattened the wire, no bounce of the block and the sound was minimal.
