I purchased this SAPHIR Super Invulner and applied it on several fine leather shoes including silk. I have half a can left after applying the product to 3 pairs of shoes. *disclosure, all leather had been treated with SAPHIR mink conditioner crème before the application*Application steps: As directed I went to a ventilated area to apply the spray (I did this in my open garage and wore a mask). On the first couple pairs I applied the spray at a length of 12 inches away and had no issues. I did cover any embellishment with clear tape & stuffed the insides with tissue paper prior to spraying. I followed the directions and waited 30min between each layer. I applied 2 layers of the protectant to the calf leather shoes in the pictures attached. This product didn’t change the feel or look of the shoes at all!Moreover, I purchased this protectant due to claims of clear application, durability, and safe use on fragile textiles. So far all claims are TRUE, as I was able to apply 3 coats to my silk shoes as well, with no residue marks left behind (see attached photo). Overall I believe this product is worth the money to apply to luxury goods. I’m so pleased with its ability to be applied to delicate textiles that I will be applying this on handbag handles as well.Recommendations:If you apply this product and notice any residue or marks you are applying the product to close. However, don’t fret! If you have done this misstep on leather you can take a soft chamois cloth and gently wipe the residue away before applying other layers. I would highly encourage if you’re applying this product on any delicate textiles (such as suede or silk) apply it from the recommended 12 in or greater away. This is because you may not be able to buff/wipe away any marks from user error.

Most fine leather and suede is better against water than most people think, but it's rare that's all that's attacking your shoes - salt, fuel, oil and all kinds of bad stuff can ruin your footwear. Protect them with Invulner - it sprays on easy, is invisible and works great. Pricey, but it's the best thing I've used.

So I read a ton of reviews and online articles before purchasing the right water and stain protector for suede. I purchased some more expensive sneakers and really wanted to take care of them but was so nervous it was make them smell or discolor the suede or even worse, do both of those things and still just not work at all. After reading numerous reviews I came across this product and saw one or two other reviews talking about suede and how the color didn’t change. Received the product today and immediately opened it up and sprayed a test spot on a cheaper pair of sneakers - magic, the color didn’t change at all but the smell was super strong. So I took my sneakers outside, sprayed two pairs down and tried to get a good base coat. Left them for 30 minutes outside then brought them back in. No smell at all after 30 minutes. Pleasantly surprised and happy! Was nervous the strong smell would stay but it didn’t at all! Finally, did the water test, and as you can see in the video it just bounces right off the suede toe and does nothing to the shoe. I was so excited and definitely happy with my purchase. Can say, this worked wonders on my high end shoes that I was super nervous to use it on but wanted to protect! This stuff is gold and I will certainly be using it on more of my personal items. I have a suede bag I think it’ll protect amazingly! So excited

Good product. Easy to apply. Has some smell and best to leave the shoes outside for several hours to dry after application. One thing to note is that after I applied the Saphir Renovator (Neutral) and the Super Invulner on my brand new suede shoes, the color of the shoes undeniably turned darker by a few shades. I am glad that the shoes are protected, but just wanted everyone to know that the color will turn a few shades darker. The left pic is the before and the right pic is the after. This color change has happened to all the suede shoes that I applied these products to. I am a little bummed about this, but glad that my suede shoes are protected.

No chemical smell! Expensive but Fabulous!

I use this spray on all of my suede shoes, and it works exactly as intended. It protects against water and light stains without changing the color or texture of the suede. No white residue, no stiffness after drying. I always let it dry fully before wearing, and it really helps keep my shoes looking new. A staple in my shoe-care routine.
