Fit perfectly onto service port of my DELLA 4 zone 36k BTU mini split condenser. I installed (DIY) 36K BTU mini split for my home, system was precharged, but it required all the linesets to be vacuumed before releasing refrigerant into the lines. I bought for this a small compressor that came with adapter for a service port. The original adapter that came with compressor looked ok, but was very difficults to put on service port, required me to use a grip pliers to make it very tight so it would not bleed air. It was very difficult to get it tide as it was poorly made. After trying several times to not much luck, I looked at revies of these compressors and everyone was complaining about poorly made adapter that does not hold vacuum as it should.. So i just bought this new adapter and it worked like a charm. I screwed it on to the service port EASY with my hands only and it kept vacuum super tide, no leakage at all. After I released the refrigerant into the lineset, the adapter came off so easy, that I lost maybe one second of internal pressure, and AC started to run like a charm! Now the whole home is nicely cooled THANKS to this well made little device!

4 stars only because these do not have Schrader valves in them, so they can be VERY messy if not used just right. Ball valves on your hoses will be a big help with these. Otherwise, they work great for working on several brands on mini split condensers/heat pumps.

Worked perfect for Mini Split install and the cutting/shortening of the copper lines. I used a pump to charge the lines and this adapter worked great.

I was putting a new mini-split system in my garage because I am a woodworker and wanted to be able to work in the Summer time. I am a licensed HVAC contractor and I haven't worked myself out in the field for probably close to 20 years now, so I didn't have everything I needed, and this adapter was something I needed. I thought great I get two for less than $9 bucks you can't beat that. Well when I went to nitrogen test I had an obvious leak as the guage went down from 300psi slowly. I sprayed all my fittings and the only leak was at this adapter. Tightening it didn't help, taking it off inspecting it closer, unscrewing the shrader depresser a bit more didn't help, so then I put on the second one and still a leak, in the same spot. where the male end is around the stem it was bubbling on both adapters. I called up one of my HVAC friends and told him where it was leaking and he said what, the ones I have in my hands are brazed right there. So I met him and picked up his adapter and sure enough it had a braze at the same point these were leaking. I put his on and my system held 300 psi for 30 minutes without moving a nudge! Complete waste of my time and took my job a few hours longer because of it. Don't waste your money!
