Good product!
I bought this for my faily to watch movies and TV shows that I have on my NAS. The box arrived quickly and it seems to be have great quality built, remote is a bit flimsy compare to the box but still works great. I am surprised that it has the latest Android version without a lot of bloatware on it which is a great addition and can support all apps that I plan to install. It will also be great to have 5Ghz WiFi support even though I got an ethernet cable hooked on it which works great. I cannot tell if it support 6K or 3D as I only got a 1080p TV but it does work faultlessly with it and very responsive to all input. All in all I can vouch for this product and the power adpater is 3 pin UK one instead of the EU one as other might have reported.

Netflix does not work
Instruction book is useless - 'Press the power button to turn on. Press the power button to turn off', you are on your own after that. I was quite please at first, seemed well made, and I got Wifi & TV connected no problem. My problem was the software - looks like it is for a mobile, not a tv. To download apps, the Google Play store is the mobile version, you have to navigate using a mouse pointer that you move with arrow keys on the remote, which is a ball ache. I bought it primarily to watch Netflix. App launched and logged in ok, but it was impossible to navigate the app with the remote. The arrow keys on the remote did nothing, and the mouse pointer did not scroll the screen. I could not select a show to watch. Again, like a mobile version of the app, not a tv version. Tried installing multiple other app versions, none worked. If you are buying this for Netflix don't bother.

Good Value Android TV Box; takes a while to set up
My first Q Plus box did not work properly; it refused to boot up reliably. Amazon refunded it without a quibble, and I bought another. We are using it on an old Sony TV (720p resolution), which has no Smart functionality. Haven't been able to test the device on a higher resolution TV. As Android devices go, it's quite slow, so setting it up takes a while, e.g. downloading and installing the apps you want. Once set up the apps open reasonably quickly. The settings options are more limited than those you find on a phone, but cover all the basics. The supplied instructions are a complete joke! If you're not familiar with setting up Android devices you might struggle a bit. Some apps, e.g. BBC iPlayer, require a mouse to be installed with a scrolling wheel, otherwise you cannot scroll down to see the content below the screen bottom. Most apps however are fine and permit the arrows keys to be used to scroll the page up and down. It's easy to install a mouse, just plug a USB mouse into one of the two ports provided. I also bought a Zedo MX3 Air Mouse. This works fine, and allows the cursor to be controlled across a room. Personally I do not find the tiny keyboard on the back of the control to be very useful. Picture quality and sound seem pretty good, and no problems at all with the HDMI connection. The build quality is reasonable for the price, even the remote control is more robust than many I have seen on low cost electronics. Overall I think the Q Plus Box is a reasonable purchase, especially if you want to add 'Smart' functionality to an old TV. It's more flexible than an Amazon Firestick, and is much the same price, and being Android there should be no issue with app updates etc.

Amazing little box.(Not so)
Great picture and sound quality.I use an optical cable for the sound connected to my Sony av amp receiver.Picture is set at 3840x2160 60p.I have to connect the hdmi lead to the tv via a hdmi switch box because I did not have any spare inputs on my av amp. The remote control works really well, cannot understand why some people dislike it.I have experimented with a mouse attached to the spare usb input and that seems to work great although I have nowhere to sit the mouse flat where I sit in my armchair. The one negative I have to say about it is it does not like external hard drives.I have tried usb portable hdd's which should power up on the devices own power but failed. It did work for a short time but then stopped.I have also tried big external hard drives that have there own external power source and they did not work. What does seem to work is a Sandisk 512gb usb stick.NAS works great,it can pick up all of my network attached storage devices. For the money its a great little device. Regarding the hdd problems i'll keep experimenting. When it only cost £31.99 its giving me a lot of fun in discovering what it can do. Update 8/7/2020 4K Video is not running smooth,it's very jerky.Still cannot get a external hard drive to work.Sd card refuses to format. Also there is a problem with the usb sockets.Any cable I plug into the socket and move the cable slightly it loses the connection. Just bought a QPLOVE Android TV Box 4GB RAM 128GB ROM RK3318 Quad-Core from Amazon and it seems to be doing everything properly.4K video is running very smoothly now.It seems to have a faster gpu than the Qplus.
