Solid ignition switch that installs easily and works smoothly
I used this switch to replace a worn ignition on an older machine and it worked out great. The housing feels sturdy and the key turns with a smooth click at each position. The terminals are clearly marked which makes wiring simple even if you are swapping it into something that did not have the same layout. Once installed the switch powered everything the way it should and the start position engaged cleanly without sticking. The keys fit tight with no wobble and the switch holds up well to repeated use. I tested it through all four positions and every circuit made contact the way it was supposed to. For the price this is a dependable option for anything that needs a basic ignition setup whether it is a mower, tractor, or small equipment project. It is a straightforward part that does its job without fuss and feels like it will last.

Nice ignition switch!!!
I bought this switch as an inexpensive ignition switch for an old car I'm working on. It seems pretty heavy duty and well made.

Decent Quality at an Affordable Price
I purchased the MGI SpeedWare Ignition Switch to replace an old Ignition switch on my 1960 Allis Chalmers D14 tractor. I am replacing and/or upgrading various components on my tractor including wiring, gauges... and the ignition switch. I ordered the MGI because it is affordable for me (my budget is somewhat limited). The switch will meet my needs and I am sure will function properly but it is pretty lightweight in construction and not what I would describe as a "high quality" product (you have to pay more for that). The old switch was worn enough enough that the little key (originally included) wanted to easily fall out. I like that the MGI switch uses a full length key that stays in. I plan to install this in a few days (waiting for a few more parts) and will report back if I have any issues with this brand of switch... but I don't expect any.

Hey! My truck starts again!
I have an old hot rod truck with a steering column from the 70s. When you turn the key, it should cause one gear to turn another, moving a lever further down the column. However, the teeth on one or both of the gears are rounded and it doesn't like to start. Replacing them is not an easy task so I just moved the whole key switch to the dash. This ignition switch is clearly labeled and does exactly what it should. They sell fancy kits that are plug and play but this was a more economically feasible option. My dash had an existing hole and this fit perfectly without any further cutting and grinding. Concerning durability, it has lasted several days so far so I guess that's good.

Works good
This is not keyed the same as any golf cart so u have a different cut key so u have a better chance that ur cart won’t get stolen

Lasted about 2 months. Fire hazard
Buyer beware, fire hazard. Having issues after couple months installed. Barely used but will lose power in the run position and takes a jiggle. Triple checked on my end, for sure is the switch. Can't complain to much at the price point..win some, lose some. It's always a gamble with these cheap parts. Update, contacts came lose inside the unit and melted/caught fire.. would not buy these. Dangerous.

Switch works good and does what it’s Suppossed to but the switch where the key goes in sticks out of the dash more then a normal switch and looks a bit funny but works perfect otherwise
