A paddock stand would obviously make it a little easier to clean the chain as the bike is upright and wouldn’t have to contend with any friction like it does with the rollers. However, for the price, it’s fine and meant I could clean/lubricate the chain easily and the rollers take up almost no room in my packed garage. I propped a bit of wood under the side stand to make the bike a bit more upright.

What a clever tool! Makes lubricating the chain on my 698 Ducati mono really easy and quick. I put a piece of cardboard below where I am oiling the chain to collect any oil drips . Very pleased with this purchase.

Superbly useful and solid bit of kit which is incredibly useful if your bike lacks a centre stand. Very good value too.

Well made but awkwood place under front wheel

Deceptively good . I like that its so portable and as such a must for bikers going on tour who want to service the bike /oil the chain and all without taking up much room . I used it on a number of bikes including a heavy old bruiser ZZR1400 so it can take the weight.

I bought this for when oiling my bike chain & cassette as on my bike, rotating the pedals backwards doesn't turn my wheel, cassette & chain. I haven't got a maintenance stand as yet & thought this might do the trick by rotating it forwards. It does the job but it's better for motorbikes that don't have a centre stand as they are heavier. As mountain bikes are too light in comparison it takes a bit of faffing with. Does the job but I'll probably look for a maintenance stand.

I bought the Grand Pitstop Motorcycle Wheel Cleaning Roller to help with cleaning my bike chain after getting fed up of having to wheel my bike back and forward to reach all of the chain and I can say confidently its a great bit of kit. It takes a little bit of manoeuvring to get your when to roll in the centre but its not difficult, once set it rolls freely allowing you get to all of the chain/wheel to do what you need to do. I didn't have the space to store a full size paddock stand and this fits neatly in my bike bag. Aside from having to initially learn how to roll the bike on to get the wheel centred this is a super simple bit of kit that I'd recommend to any biker.

Product does the job, must have if your bike or scooter doesn't have side stand. Quality of the product is good and sturdy.
