So far so good. Worked right out of the box. It does come with 2 rubber washers and the screw cap. Wiring is easy. Connect all whites together. Black power lead to the black sensor lead. Red sensor lead out to black wire of the lamp. Longevity to be determined and will update later. Price is great and the rounded portion fit my spotlight housing.

Very light sensitive, exactly what I wanted
This replaced a sensor I bought on Amazon last fall which I installed in an outside light mounted under a front portico. With the previous one, the light would come on on overcast days but otherwise bright. As soon as I installed this sensor I tested it just by placing my finger over it. The light turned on immediately and then turned off immediately when I moved my finger away. This was in the evening on an overcast day. Look no further than this product to outfit a fixture that doesn't have a dusk to dawn feature built in. Update: If the light from the fixture you are installing this in is very bright, it is possible that the very light emitting from the fixture will trigger this sensor to turn off. Since it is so sensitive, the sensor then immediately turns the fixture back on again. This creates a continuous “strobe” like effect. The only fix may be to somehow shield the sensor from the light emitting from the fixture. Maybe just a little strip of tape over the side of the sensor protruding from the fixture that faces the light. Other than the issue above, which I would assume to be a problem with any sensor of this kind, the only drawback for this product would be the short black and red wires. There is really no need to make them that short.

Be careful… this is a low power unit. Read the label on the actual product
Be careful. The product does what it’s supposed to do. My issue is that in the description in the specification section. It says 1000 W but if you look at the picture of the actual product, it says 100 W mine burned up after only two weeks of use. I think that the specification page should be updated because that’s what I went with when I decided to buy it.

Good Quality and Fit for Outside Lights.
This is made of good quality and fits well with an existing outside light that had a light sensor that did not work. After I installed and saw how it worked flawlessly, I purchased a few more afterwards to install on existing outdoor lights that currently do not have sensors to save electricity.
