PlayStation 2 Console Slim PS2

For a while, I've been wanting to own a PlayStation 2 just so I can go back and relive the nostalgia with the games I've played growing up, and when I finally got it I was absolutely filled with joy to have the console in my hands for the first time in nearly a decade. As far as the console itself went, it looked to be in really good shape. I did have to disassemble the console since it looked very dirty on the inside, but after spending some time cleaning it up it has worked wonders so far. The controller works fine, just the D-Pad can be a bit unresponsive to where I have to press down pretty hard on the right one specifically if I'm trying to tweak some settings in-game or on the system in general. Good thing I ordered a extra controller as a backup. So far, so good when it comes to the PS2. Hasn't given me any problems, especially since I had to disassemble it to give it a good cleaning. Overall, I'm impressed.

This console has been really fun to play games on. It's sleek and has a great design. You can play PS2 games and PS1 games on it. One thing that bothers me is that in the manual it says that it doesn't play some games right. I tried playing a baseball game for PS2 and it didn't work when up to bat. PS1 baseball games work okay though. I still gave the console 5 stars . Also you need a PS1 memory card to save PS1 games.

Console arrived looking as if it was dragged through a sawdust pile. The door to insert game was scotch taped shut, obviously because it would not stay shut. The console never worked and outside was trashed beyond used cosmetic wear. All this for a total of 109.00. I am not happy at having to take time to repack, drive uptown and then wait in line at ups store to ship. I dislike having to return things, twicefold when it's due to a seller knowingly shipping garbage.

It was rather scratched on top and was white instead of black and wasn't in original packaging but i didnt expect perfection, It had different cording than I was used to with my old one, and the SD card door was missing, it also had part if a fast food straw wrapping in the cd compartment, it took a bit to start up but hasn't frozen yet but it's only been an hour since I got it

Very happy with this purchase the controller is in good condition and the cords look good aswell the console has some scratches but other than that the console turns on and works I liked the packaging it came in person did a good job thank you again.

The PS2 got here faster than expected, and the console turned on with no issues. There is some cosmetic issues, and the console was originally in French when I got it (which i understand, given the seller was most likely French Canadian). However, the controller sent was defective, making it impossible to use without having to unplug and plug back in. Thankfully, however, the seller refunded me for controller price, and I've had no further issues. They were quick to fix the mistake, and were very polite as well.

I was looking for a great condition ps2 slim. I had one as a kid and I really missed it. Came across this gem from a third party seller that offered prime shipping. Had little to no scratches, completely dust free, and all original hardware packaged very well. Came with an original Sony ps2 controller, memory card, original av cable, and the power cable and brick. Did not come in it’s original box but I was never looking for the original box anyway. Overall I got everything I was looking for at a fair price. Very happy with my purchase.

Looked new but didn’t work Really upset my son Why wasn’t it tested first ?

It’s great to have a PS2 again. What surprising was, the ps2 I got, was a customized ps2. It says “Matrix!” After turning on the ps2. Which is something I’ve never seen before. So that’s cool. However, the ps2 itself is not perfect unfortunately. You see, I put in a brand new game in the ps2. And it went well for a couple hours. But after that, the games I was playing, started glitching out. And they froze. So I had to turn off the ps2. After turning it off, I checked out the back of the disc, there was a scratch all around the disc. Which is so disappointing. It happened to 2 newly opened games in a row :/ So the ps2 is only good for a short period of time. After that, it’ll scratch up your discs in no time

This product was disgusting! It came so dirty and I had to wipe it down and the joystick was very sticky. It kept getting stuck and my X button was also jammed. Also the PlayStation is suppose to be Black and it came in silver. The picture shows that there’s a memory card but there is no memory card included but to be fair the description didn’t mention it having a memory card but I still find that disappointing as it’s false advertisement. I also had to clean the laser for it to read my ps2 discs. It would not read any CD until I did so not to mention I had a mint condition ps2 game and it scratched it up. I ended up keeping the ps2 because I was excited to have it and I had to clean it up. But had I known all this I would’ve definitely gone for another seller.

The packaging was a wee bit sketchy, pillowcase and a ton of bubble/plastic wrap. But the console is in great condition, work well. Although the L2 button doesn’t work, I’m still leaving a 5 star review because it came with God Of War 2 with no extra cost, which is pretty sweet. The disc was a little scratched but used some toothpaste and it works like new!
