Ox perfection
This year it was time to add more animals. All these years without an Ox, and then I found this perfect creature. He’s ideal with the 5inch figures-and now that he’s here I honestly can’t remember life before him in the stable. Love.

Fontanini Nativity Ox - High quality figurine as usual
I've had my Fontanini Nativity set for decades and always felt like something was missing. The addition of the ox to the donkey, sheep and goat in my set completed the picture. I love the quality of the Fontanini figurines and this one is no exception.

Finally an animal made to proper scale
Finally an animal made to proper scale. Most of the cattle you see with nativity sets look like they're the same size as a dog would be in scale to the humans. But this guy is big enough to look real. I really don't understand people's gripes about it. One reviewer said they didn't like the white face - it clearly has a white face in the picture. One said they didn't like that it was made of plastic. It says right in the description what it's made of. People, read and use your eyes! It is exactly as described and fits in beautifully with the 5" scale figures.

Ox for 5-inch nativity
I finally splurged and added a piece to my 5-inch nativity set (mine had just the family and 2 sheep). Unfortunately I found my stable is too small to hold this rather large ox. He’s just going to have to sleep outside until I get an additional shelter. I see what they did there...

Seated Ox Nativity Figurine (5" scale)
I love the quality of Fontanini Nativity Figurines and this item is no exception. I have an older seated ox and it looked a little small despite being part of the 5" scale Nativity Scene I purchased many years ago. This ox is the perfect size to go along with the other pieces I have. I am very pleased with this purchase and I would highly recommend Fontanini Nativity pieces for anyone with small children who like to interact with the figurines. They are truly indestructible!
