The holy grail. I have the worst BO known to man and I have tried EVERYTHING. Prescription strength anti-perspirent, surgical scrub before deodorant, every deodorant and anti-perspirent ever made..nothing works. This scrub, combined with Cashmere Mist (if you know, you know) keeps me odor free for over 24 hours. I can go 48 in a pinch! Absolutely incredible. I use the scrub every day in the shower. A little bit goes a long way (I anticipate this jar lasting months). I scrub until the cows come how and let sit while I wash my hair/face etc. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed.

This scrub is amazing! I first found it at Target and they stopped selling it, and finally found it here! This has always helped control the smell and with the dark spots! Especially after my pregnancy, I could not find a deodorant to help with the smell or lighten my pits, until I started using this again! Def. recommend it!

UPDATED REVIEW - 4/5Knocked down to 4 stars because they have changed the formula and I’m devastated. Dramatic, I know, but this stuff was magical. The new formula is much more watery and less beads and less charcoal. It feels more like an exfoliating body wash than an actual underarm scrub. It still helps remove deodorant residue, but the detox effects are gone. My underarms don’t feel and smell as fresh anymore :(ORIGINAL REVIEW - 5/5I’m so glad I tried this product, but at the same time, it makes me ashamed of my underarm hygiene before I discovered it. You don’t realize how much residue your deodorant leaves behind, even after you’ve showered (!!!!!), until you try this. Mind you, I used to scrub at my pits with exfoliating gloves, baking soda, and the coarsest body scrubs known to man. The first time I used this product, I was shocked by how much residue there was. I could literally feel clumps balling up as I was scrubbing. And the best part? This product is so much more gentle and moisturizing than anything I’ve used in the past. It has made such a big difference in my underarms in terms of odor and softness. I highly, highly recommend it. It’s life changing.Tip: It works best if you apply twice. The first time, use it to scrub and wash away your deodorant. Then finish by using it as a mask for a 5 minutes.

Love this product, it definitely helps getting rid of slimy typical deodorants. First time I used it I was surprised. Even if you use a more natural deodorant, it's good as a smell neutralizer as well.

I switched from Secret to a natural deodorant last summer. I’m a sweaty person, so even conventional deodorants haven’t always kept me odor-free all day. During that transition, I purchased Pacifica’s Charcoal & Coconut Oil Underarm Scrub.I generally like Pacifica’s products, and the ingredient list for this scrub is solid. That said, I’m honestly not sure how much it helped.I used it every other day, applying it in the shower and leaving it on for several minutes before rinsing. Some days I noticed less odor, other days I didn’t notice a difference at all. I also didn’t see any visible change in the skin under my arms.It’s possible the scrub helped somewhat — or it’s possible my deodorant was doing most of the work. My favorite scrub was discontinued and tried multiple other brands to try to replace it and finally found this one! It’s perfect and works exactly as it says! I would say it took a week or two to notice a difference so consistently use it!

This scrub has made the transition to natural deodorant a success. If I notice that my deodorant isn’t working as well (starting to smell), I use this for 2-3 days, and body odor goes away.

I really love this underarm scrub! I have sensitive underarms and this is not too harsh at all—it exfoliates gently but still leaves my skin feeling super clean and refreshed. It’s perfect for a little detox, especially if you deal with buildup. I’ve had no irritation and my skin feels so smooth after using it. Highly recommend!

Update #2:Been using this for almost 3 weeks now and here is my final verdict! I need to use this twice a day, morning and night. I also started to use Piper Wai deoderant at the same time, but once a day. I NEED to use BOTH in order to keep my armpit odour to an acceptable (!) level. ...I've learned that neither are cure-alls, my armpits still carry the same odour, I guess it's like what another reviewer said about what you eat, your body chemistry etc, that if you had smell armpits before you will still have them! THIS is what makes the difference for me: using the Pacifica Beauty Charcoal in combination with the Piper Wai deoderant helps to keep the odour away for awhile longer than my old aluminum laced deoderants. And as long as I can get away with not using them I am happy with the Pacifica Beauty charcoal cleanser and Piper Wai deoderant. I am still impressed by both but just disappointed I was not able to get rid of my armpit odour all together!and am I glad I did! Ok, it's only been a day and a half but I can tell you that nobody needed this more than I do!! I put it on last night (twice) and after washing it off with a warm cloth and dried, my arm pits were a different kind of clean, and dry but not an irritating dry. Haven't used it or any deoderant today because I wanted to see if I'd go back to smelling! Oh what a difference! I mean the smell emanating from my arm pits is minimal, trust me!! If I were using regular soap in the shower along with my usual deoderant I'd be stinking like a skunk by now.... When I realized it made such a difference I had to go in search of a better price, I found it and ordered 4 more jars! The price here is atrocious.....So...to get to the instructions which said "Massage onto your underarm (armpits) in a circular motion. Rinse well..." It didn't say for how long so I massaged it in for about 3 minutes each armpit, afterall it's part charcoal and probably needs time to absorb any kind of odour. After finishing both I went back to the first and washed it off, then did the other. I think it's just as important to dry your armpits thoroughly after rinsing. I've ordered as well PiperWai Natural Deoderant, available also here on Amazon. Hopefully the two together will seal the deal and no longer will I have to test and waste money on so many useless and harmful deoderants. Will update in a few days...Update #1:Been using this little jar of awesome now for 4 or 5 days and I am even more impressed! What a game changer! I will be using this from now on and for as long as it's available at a decent price. I will NEVER EVER switch back to any of the big name deoderants again. After using this a couple of times with Piper Wai natural deoderant I would prefer just to use to this cleanser/detox alone as my armpits feel so much cleaner without the extra deoderant layer. PS My hormones are changing, I'm going through menopause and have hot flashes...if that helps anyone...and I do believe this would be great for men too! ...One more thing I'd like to add...I swear companies make products to keep us or our bodies hooked...a well known nasal spray for one, your nose becomes dependent on it if you continue to use it. Only way to break my dependency on it was with a trip to the doctor for a prescription that undid the damage without any dependency. It has to be the same darn thing with deoderant, the more you use it, the more you smell, the more you need it.
