Find help and hope for times when it's hard to wait on God Do you ever feel like God is taking too long to answer your prayers? Have you ever taken matters into your own hands, only to discover that youโve made the situation worse? Waiting on God challenges our faith when the bills are stacking up, our families are falling apart, or our dreams feel like they won't come true. We know that God hears our prayers, but itโs hard when the clock is ticking yet He hasnโt shown us the answer. In this four-week Bible study, Barb Roose invites us to explore the stories of women in the Bible who had to wait on Godโ women such as Hannah, Ruth, Martha, and the unnamed woman who suffered for over a decade with a painful medical condition. If youโve felt anxious, angry, discouraged or depressed because God isnโt giving you what you want, their stories will breathe fresh hope and practical next steps in your life. As a reforming control lover, Barb mixes in her personal stories of learning how to wait for God during long seasons of unanswered prayers, family difficulties, and challenging times in ministry. Together we will discover that there is goodness and blessing to be found in times of waiting, including a closer relationship with God than weโve ever dared to dream. Other components for the Bible study, available separately, include a DVD. "Barb Roose tackles the topic of patience in a way that really hit home for me personally. I have a lot of โwhy, how, and whenโ questions for God. Warm, tender, and a help for moving forward, Barbโs study has left me stronger, knowing I can wait so His glory is seen. โLynn Cowell, author of Make Your Move and member of the Proverbs 31 Ministries speaker and writer team Barb Roose is a wonderful role model of walking out biblical truth while in lifeโs waiting room. This study is a must read for anyone wondering what to do while waiting and wanting to stay close to God in the meantime. โPam Farrel, best-selling author of over forty books, including Discovering Hope in the Psalms: A Creative Bible Study Experience Bible Study Features: A shorter four-week study is ideal for in-between or busy times. Review: Honestly, one of the most life transforming studies I've ever done! - This is the best bible study I have ever done. I thought Barb Roose was inside my head (or home lol) bc everything in this book was made for me (or so it seems). God has blessed me abundantly through it. Every lesson in the book was excellent and I love how she shows from Scripture the principle that she is teaching. I loved it so much I gathered a group of women in my home who wanted to go thru it with me (my 2nd time). I have consistently gone back over lessons from the study guide to reinforce truths that she had drawn from God's Word and I know I will continue to do so. I praise God for leading me to this. I actually bought extra copies and have given them to people to read bc I know that it will bless their lives. No matter what study I do, I seem to come back to truths from this one repeatedly!! I sent my pastor 6-7 pictures of points that she makes or a whole page that was filled with writing that had changed me. I have had chronic health for 20+ years- I am 40- and it has given me a sense of internal peace I never thought I would have. My friends' lives were changed through this study also and I just can't stress enough to give it a try. I was talking to a friend the other day and used 3 examples with sculpture from this study - just during our 30 min conversation!! This is a book for the weary, tired, impatient, anxious, depressed and drained woman. My husband laughs bc I will always bring up topics from the book---lol. When I had the group study, I bought the video, which was very well done. So I love them both together!! Barb- if you ever read this please know how much you have blessed my life. I am now more patient with God, content to know that God has a plan, and so thankful to hear from someone else that I'm not the only one. Sincerely....Renee

A great reminder of Godโs sovereignty
Iโm Waiting God is a study into the difficult, but ultimately beautiful journey into learning about Godโs timing. I loved that each week highlighted different women of the Bible, and whether I had ever studied their situations or not, it gave a unique perspective into their lives that I hadnโt explored before. I also loved that the study could be used however I wanted it to be used. It was only four weekโs long, but each week could be as in depth into the topic as I needed it to be. There were a few days of โhomeworkโโreading Scriptures and applying it to my life. But then there were a couple more days of *optional* homework that I actually think helped with the practicality of appplication. In the end, Barb did a great job reminding me of the blessings of waiting-gratitude, discipline, prayer. When we wait, we lean into Him and realize more and more that Heโs in control and that is the biggest blessing of all!

The light font is no beuno!
While I am enjoying the book, I want to share to any/all authors & publishers that a grey font is not the vibe. Let's go ahead and print books in black. For your young folk, as you age, small font AND light font/print becomes hard to read, even with readers. I have 20/20 vision other than small/light print. I am having to read this on my Kindle, then find the section in the book to highlight and take notes. So if you are over the age of 50, don't try to read this unless you are in bright light or wearing a headlamp.

Beautiful and touching book!
Everybody who is struggling with patience needs this Bible study book.! It is a super easy and peaceful read that I have enjoyed.! The author does a wonderful job in how she goes through each chapter by balancing the Bible with her study. You also get to answer various questions reflecting what you have read and inputting how it applies to your life.! This study has definitely transformed how I need to view circumstances in my life!
