Easy set up
This kit is a good purchase for someone wanting to get into crypto mining and see what it’s all about, I was up and running in now time and the 102 kHs is a good rate at 100 w power use. I was thinking of the Moonlander 2 but at 60 bucks and 5 kHs you would need 20 to do the same work!

Don't waste your money.. do your research
Do the math people.. there are simple easy to use websites.. stop feeding the pockets of these people that sell products that are 1-2 years outdated.. you will LOSE money, at minimum $0.12 per day.. and that doesn't take into account purchase price. Do your research.. if you want to mine.. but probably better to just "invest" buy low sell high.. lot less complicated. Again.. this miner is not nearly powerful nor efficient enough to EVER make money, what you spend on it will be completely lost and you will LOSE more money each day. Just go to whattomine and enter in details.

Works until it doesn't
The device worked great for a long time. But when I found out it stopped working I inspected it and the power plugs were black and brittle and crumbled. The power supply was inadequate being a 200 W. May have burnt down my house if I hadn't found it. Developer doesn't respond to emails on their site. Sitting with a dead device and no support.

Don’t buy
Owned for a month. Nice design and cool product but once I did the math, it would take years to earn enough just pay it off (over $430 with taxes)! Litecoin mining just can’t be done to make anything on this device. I ran it for a month straight 24/7 and made $.50. Shortly after, I bought a antminer L3++ which mines at 500mh/s (keep in mind this Apollo does about 120mh/s) and even the antminer didn’t produce enough to make a profit. With the price of electricity here being .24/kWh these devices aren’t made for you to make money. Another thing i didn’t like about this was that the manufacturer forces you to “donate” 1% of your hashing power back to them! What a joke. Device doesn’t run unless you agree to the “donation” scam. Back to Amazon it goes.

Quiet, neat miner. Too expensive for what it is.
It's too difficult to suggest people buy this or not since electricity prices vary in every location. My issue with this is the price of the unit. It is worth it to simply buy the $400 worth of LTC and sit on that until (if ever) it goes up again. The unit itself is well made. And is very quiet in ECO mode. I would have like to see more security built in but then it is an ARM/Linux box that you can SSH into and harden yourself.Note on Donation mode: This can easily be disabled via the web interface.Profit: This completely depends on what you pay for Kw/H and there is the solo-mode gambling for a block. If you watch LitecoinPool you will see that the people with the most block are running 10+G/Hs on their rigs. That is over one hundred times the power of this unit. I don't think it is fair to judge this unit based on things out of its control. For what it is, it's a good unit. Just not for the price. If you're looking to get into crypto mining then I suggest the cheaper (and weaker) Moonlander2 sold by the same seller.

Works as advertised.
I have 5 of these running 24-7. They are easy to set up and are not loud. They work as advertised and I am very happy with the performance.

Expensive rock
The miner can't start, the node cannot ever connect to any pools, customer service is non-existent, and any time the screensaver comes up you might as wel restart the device because it'll be unresponsive.

Too hot to handle
It’s a good miner but it tends to overheat
