High quality boxed stock. It's not as good as I can make myself, but it's nice to have this on hand if homemade stock is not an option. The price? Astonishing. 99 cents for a quart. Nuff said

These are 8.25 ounce mini containers of broth. While pricy in comparison to the large 32 ouncers that can be purchased, this is a size I greatly appreciate for many of my needs. I like it for making a quick soup, or a quick sipping broth. Just add some bits of left over food and spices. I use it when I just need a splash for flavor and/or healthy cooking. I can do that with the large containers too, but I simply dont want to buy/use the large containers all the time. There is NO mystery about what I am buying here, so for that reviewer that is crying over the size, I ask.. why did you buy it? Currently $32.82 for a box of 12, which makes is $2.74 each. Competitive with local stores, if not cheaper. Obviously bigger containers are cheaper and therefor provide more bang for buck. But if you just want the occasional use item, a convenience item, this is perfectly good. I like the flavor just fine. I usually buy their low or no sodium option. Works for convenient noodle bowls at the office. I will keep a couple bottles of this and some precooked noodles, rice or whatever (shelf stable kind that can sit in my drawer), then I just bring in some fresh bits of food to add to it all. Best by date isnt a hard expiration date. If you bought from the warehouse, you may have a shorter date than a regular purchase. All fine, and all fine well beyond the date. It is not a safety date. Be smart, understand what the dates signify and save a few bucks by not tossing the moment the date rolls over. Plenty of good sites to confirm what the dates mean and why we have them.

The flavor is home cook like. It is great as a hot cup of broth or a soup starter. I use it to flavor rice because the salt level is perfect and I don't have to add more. The small boxes store the little containers in my pantry and are convient to stack.

Love how easy these are to use, especially with the recent update to the packaging so it's a twist top vs the peel-off top. The size is small enough that I use the whole thing at once, so I don't really need the re-sealable action, but it's nice. The best-used-by date on the shipment I just received (Sept 2025) is June 2027, so there's plenty of time to get through every one in the pack! It's not like amazingly flavorful on its own, I mostly use it as a base in soup, or to cook pasta or rice in when I want some extra chickenyness. Very consistent watery texture, no lumps or bumps.

Simply put this is like liquid gold in a container. I use these often for any recipe that calls for chicken broth. The seasonings are a nice addition and I have to tell you...this makes fantastic clam chowder. I basically fry diced onions and potatoes in a diced bacon and butter mixture and then add two of these containers of broth with 5 cans of canned clams. Add a little thickening and a pint of half and half with your favorite seasonings and you will be off to the races. We have used this regularly for over 10 years. It is an excellent product.

I'm too busy to make homemade stock regularly right now, so this product has been a great substitute as a component in my homemade soups. I'm watching my sodium intake, so roasting fresh vegetables to add to this stock plus some onions, garlic and other herbs that have been started in a little butter has been an easy way to pull together various soup recipes with much less salt per serving than typical canned soup. Instead of simmering the bones from a roasted chicken for hours, I can open this handy container and make a little or a lot of soup even after work with little fuss. It also makes a tasty rice if substituted for some of the cooking water. This is now a pantry staple. Forget cooking with the watered down flavor of BROTH. You want the robust flavor of a good stock whether chicken, beef or vegetable. If you get the low sodium or no sodium varieties, you can make tastier foods for people with restricted diets due to high blood pressure.

Although it says "original", the new recipe eliminates honey and now contains yeast extract. Very disappointing.

This gluten free product is excellent. I've purchased both the chicken and beef broth and they're really good. This ad says you get 12 32 oz boxes but I only received one box and it had a leak! Seller was prompt in responding to my message and issued a refund. Amazon is responsible for making the correction for the seller which they have not yet done! Who would pay $43 for one box of broth? That's just crazy!!!

Big rip off. $60 plus dollars for 12 tiny little containers??? Okay it was my bad for not checking the size of each so I did not request a refund but you can learn from my error.

I ordered this product and made the assumption based on the very high price that these were the 900 mL tetra pack size. What arrived were 8.25 ounce size tetra packs. It’s not even in the realm of realistic to pay this price for those size containers
