Have worked well for our little outdoor project. Just wish they had been a little longer.

Works alright
These are alright. They don't absorb water as quickly and efficiently as the polyacrylate solutions, yet they don't handle washing machines / dryers like reusable socks. So I see them as a little bit of an in-between solution.

Good product
Pigs are great. If you have a gap under your garage door, these tubes will collect the moisture. I use them in my garage to collect rain and snow that might drain into my garage. Eventually they break down and need to be replaced..

Don't waste your money if you want to stop water.
Garbage for water. Bought them bc my furnace had a problem with water leaks (humidifier, condensate pan) and they didn't stop another unknown leak. Junk. Don't waste your money. May work to separate oil over water, but water runs right under them. Useless frustration.

Position them as close to the wall as possible and leave them there til the "All Clear".
Our house floods due to the eroneous grading of our property and when it starts to rain we have to drag out floor fans, pumps and mops. Thankfully the socks work well ( not perfectly but well) and has cut down clean-up time from 2 hrs to about 15 min.

Seems to work, soaked up water for 5 days and still room for more, don't know how long it will take to dry out, but will update later, remember too buy two one to dry the other to replace it with.
