Merrell Mens Jungle Moc Leather 2

They have supple leather uppers. Durable soles. They remain comfortable through 10 hours standing. They are well worth the money. They are so easy to slip on. I will buy again.

I love these shoes. The recommendation to go a half-size up was spot on. They fit perfectly. My feet require good support, and these jungle moc's fit the bill, exactly. Plus they are nice enough to wear with slacks. I haven't done it, but I could probably wear them with a suit if I wanted to. I am really, really pleased with the look, the fit-- everything. This was a great purchase, and they are everything I expected from a Merrell shoe!

Do Not 1/2 Size Up let you would with running shoes, for example.I wear thick socks to compensate for the roominess of the shoe. They look and feel great! These are my winter shoes anyway. For me, to bulky and hot for warmer seasons.Very comfortable!

I've worn the Merrell Moccasins for decades, this was my fourth pair. I don't care for the new changes. They have made the sides a bit higher than the last model I purchased (many years ago). This new cut chafes the side of my ankle feircely. It is only a few centimeters higher, but just enough to aggravate by ankle. For a few weeks I tried keeping a bandaid on that part of my ankle to try and "break them in" but it wouldn't take. Eventually I ended up changing the isle for a thick padded second-party insole which brought my foot up enough to stop the chaffiing.These have traditionally been very durable shoes, lasting 4-5 years. So I hope that but the time i need a new pair, merrell will have gone back to the old style cut that is lower on the ankle. If I had tried these on in person instead of ordering them online, I would not have purchased them.

I have always found Merrell shoes to be a good fit for what i need.These fit well for a size 9 M for me as always. Good looking shoe.

I'm 72 years old, and I think these look like old men shoes. However, I do love the shoes. At 72 I'm not so sensitive to what the shoe looks like. I care much more for quality and fit and I haven't found anyone that does that better than Merrell. I recently fractured my femur and hip. Now the most painful thing I do every day is put on my socks and shoes. I decided after a year of hoping the pain would go away, I'd get some slip ons. This has been very good for me. My feet slip right into them and I no longer struggle through the pain to put my shoes on.My background is as an exercise physioloist and a biomechanics practitioner. I once co-owned a PT clinic. We handled many foot injuries clinically. We even made custom orthotics for people. I found that torsion bars or some other type of engineering to control mid-sole movement is imperative for preventing overuse injuries, such as stress fractures, tendinitis and plantar fasciitis. These shoes have those features. They are very stable and feel very healing while walking around. I love them and highly recommend them.

Initially I tried these on with my usual socks. They are what I considered normal thickness much like tube socks for work shoes. I did have some above the ankle socks I wear with most casual dress shoes and they are thinner and smoother. Wow, what a difference. Helped the shoe slip on easier and relieved the pressure I was feeling in my arch.Shoes seem well made, nice looking for dress or casual. Versatile and a good value especially caught on sale. Also a good firm heel with just a bit of height which I like. Could switch out insert for gel if needed later. Expect some time for break in period. Elastic is firm.

Its a very comfortable shoe, easy to slip on and off.If not for being absolutely useless on wet surfaces, I would have loved it so much.So, it has been demoted to being a shoe that I leave out and for rough wear in dry weather.I had almost slipped and fell many times and I don't want to risk injury

I wear these for work every day. They are so comfortable, and the quality is great. This is my second pair in the last 6 years, and they lasted very well. They are waterproof so, I have no problem walking through puddles. They have a great grip for slippy conditions too. I highly recommend these.
