😇 Halo. Thin, light & effective.
I have been using Halo headbands for about 15 years. Very happy with how they work. The yellow rubber silicon strip sticks to the forehead , channels water away from your eyes. The headband does not absorb all that much.. point is to channel sweat away from your eyes down the side of your face and It works very well. The pictures do not show that this headband isn't straight. It angles down the back of your head under the occipital bone to keep the headband in place. Didn't know they had done that and I like how it hooks that bone like your bike helmet does. Another reviewer said it didn't fit their head, but I feel it fits very well , better than the flat. The straight flat headband sometimes get pushed around by your helmet. The pictures with the product need updated. These are really great sweat channelers but know that if you use it a lot, the silicone rubber strip will get stiff and hard after a year or so then not work as well. But I feel the price is very good for what you get. Sting free workouts are priceless. I have a pretty big head and these don't feel overly tight actually this one with the occipital bone feature is even more comfortable since the distance is longer as it goes down and back up to your forehead. Quality is good. Well made. Stitching never comes apart. I did have one where the rubber strip came loose but that was probably a 3-year-old headband and I glued it back on with some super glue and it's still working. It's light you don't remember it's there, but you'll remember if you forget it ... when sweat starts stinging your eyes & fouling your glasses.

Nothing Quite Like it! Really Works!
I sweat..... A Lot. Excessive sweat, yet another fabulous genetic gift from my parents. Especially when playing tennis or running. For years I've always used top quality "heavy-duty" headbands from another manufacturer, and for what they are there are none better. Well constructed and long lasting. I probably have 30 of them, as I cannot run or merely warm-up with a tennis ball without having one on my head. The problem with even the finest quality terrycloth based headbands is that they can only hold so much sweat, as they have no mechanism built in for evaporating the water (sweat). Like a bucket, a top-notch terry-based headband will hold a lot of water until it's at capacity. Once the head band is full it no longer serves any purpose at all and in fact becomes heavy on your head. It also begins to drip, which becomes messy and annoying. When this occurs I have to replace it with a dry one, which is a pain if your in the midst of running. Not efficient. A good friend of mine gave me a Halo headband as a gift about 3 months ago, indicating that it was the "newest-thing" in headband technology, and is so good that I would only need one for a 10 mile run. My response to that statement was, "not-the-way-I-sweat!" Well guess what, this thing really works!!! IT'S INCREDIBLE! Not totally sure how it does it's thing, but it works so well that even if you ran 5 miles or played 5 sets of tennis in sweltering heat, soaking the Halo in the process, you could in-fact wear the same one again the next day, with no stickiness or oder from the previous days workout. No kidding! The darn thing never gets heavy with sweat and channels all of the water away from and around your eyes, so there's never any stinging from excessive sweating. Because the band evaporates the sweat so efficiently, there's no sticky or smelly residue left behind. It's truly amazing! Let's establish one thing right now; whatever your workout description is, you will only need one Halo for the entire time you are working out, end of story. Additionally they wash wonderfully too. The "washing-instructions" suggest you hand wash them, which I did for the first few months but now I simply toss them in with my running clothes, and wash all of it on delicate cycle in cold water. Then I simply air-dry the bands over night. Works perfectly! Bottom line: Halo Headbands are an awesome product that works well over and over again, a product that I highly recommend. I could go on and on regarding this product but you get the idea here. Now go and get one. GO!

Not a fan of these
For what they’re made for they work great they keep the sweat out of your eyes and it goes down to channel and behind your ears. But for me, they were just a little bit too tight.

Excellent for sweat absorbency, but not as wide as described and runs a little tight
Straight away, I'll say this absolutely does keep sweat out of your eyes and is quite absorbent. While wearing this, no sweat drips onto my face at all. However, there are some drawbacks to this headband. Overall, I would recommend this, as long as you keep the following in mind: 1. This is not 3 inches wide, or least not mine. At its widest point, mine was 2.35 inches wide. 2. I wear a medium helmet and my hat size is 7-1/8. If I wear this over my ears, it's uncomfortable within an hour. If I wear it over top/behind my ears, it has a tendency to push my ears out. Along with that, if you're wearing a helmet where your head is already taking up the vast majority of the inside, your helmet may be uncomfortably tight or not fit at all with this one. Either way, the fit is a little on the tight side and not very stretchy. If you're a size large in helmets and/or close to a size 8 in hats, I wouldn't recommend this particular Halo model. 3. The inside yellow channel isn't very noticeable once on and isn't uncomfortable. 4. This tends to lose what stretchiness it does have, over time. It will spruce up if you wash it, but please be aware that it does stretch out over time. Overall, given the above, I do recommend this because it works very well at keeping sweat out of the face. So, even with the drawbacks, I think it's worth buying. While it is a bit overpriced, it's not nearly as overpriced as some of the big name cycling clothing brands. Right, so this is a recommend from me as long as your head isn't overly large and/or your helmet isn't a very close fit to your head. Cheers!

Does what it says it will, but I would prefer a thicker material
First, when I workout I sweat a ton, like more than any person you know. Sweat coming off my face never used to bother me, but now that I'm losing my hair it has become a real problem. Initially, my hope was to find a product that could capture all the sweat coming from my head in an hour long workout, but unfortunately, this product doesn't do the job. The material used is rather thin and it will get saturated pretty quick for me and then the sweat comes on down on the sides of your head. The good news is, the way it blocks the sweat from the front of your head works and it doesn't go in to your eyes even if the band itself is saturated. Also, I should mention I have a very large head and I thought I would be sending this product back pretty quickly if it was too tight. Fortunately, the material does allow you to stretch it pretty easily and it fits very comfortably and solidly on my head for aggressive workouts. Ultimately, I haven't found anything better than this and I use it every day so I feel it is definitely worthy of five stars. However, I would be even more pleased if Halo came out with a thicker material for their Super Wide headband to try and capture even more sweat. I would buy it in an instance.

Buy It, You Wont Regret It!
Excellent Headband! well worth the price. I ride mountain bikes in the hot Texas summer. The material is thin and fits under helmets and hats easily. I normally have sweat running down my face and into my eyes and have had to stop constantly to wipe the sweat off my face. With the Halo, never a need to stop anymore. The rubber strip at the front of the headband is the key. Even when the headband is soaked, the strip diverts the sweat around your face to the sides. As for durability, I have had my original one for over 3 years and still going strong. not even frayed and rubber strip still intact. I have bought two others, I use one for yardwork and keep one in my toolbox. Sweating in the summer is a part of life here in Texas. I would highly recommend this for any kind of working in the heat. They also have many styles and colors for everyone.

Awesome headband
Love this headband! I've been doing a lot of road biking this summer and I'm a heavy sweater. I needed a solution to keep the sweat out of my eyes cuz it blinds me and burns. This headband is a great solution. It's not perfect though. If I'm biking in conditions that are 98 degrees or hotter the sweat pours more than this headband can wick away. Again I'm a very heavy sweater and don't expect this product to work perfectly for me. It works well enough that when I lost my other one I bought another one right away. It works way better than anything else I've tried wearing to keep sweat out of my eyes. I would def recommend this headband. It also looks stylish!

Work ok if you don’t look down
I’ve a couple of these Halo sweat bands for several years I originally bought them to keep sweat out of my eyes while bike riding. They didn’t do the job so I put them away. I’m Using them now because I don’t have anything else. They’re designed to move sweat behind your eye zone now absorb it. They really only work if you don’t look down. So right now I’m digging in severe heat and humidity and they’re overwhelmed quickly. It doesn’t help that the yellow sweat channels have come unglued on both pair that I have. While look for better for bike riding and had another Halo but the yellow channel cracked and let sweat through the cracks.

This is safety equipment for sweaty cyclists
Riding on busy roads is dangerous if you can’t see because there is sweat in your eyes. I used a narrower version of this wide band previously and I sweat so much it would overflow before the end of the ride. This one allowed me good vision door to door. I can’t underscore enough the safety this delivers. No hands off to wipe away sweat, no scrunched eyes. But at the end wringing out lots of sweat from the band. Excellent performance. Highly recommended for those who sweat a lot from their head.

Worth the purchase
Great product. Comfortable after adjustment, holds a lot of sweat. I had a lot of trouble wearing a hat and working out. I always had sweat running into my eyes and it would be a lot hotter with a cap on. This is a lot better solution. Will defiantly buy another. The only thing I had an issue with is that it was too tight but I stretched it out, just like an elastic band and fits perfect now.

Looks good, but falls short where it matters most
Seconding what others have said, if you’re a heavy sweater or suffer from hyperhidrosis, this sweatband offers very little relief. The fabric doesn’t absorb much sweat, and the “halo” feature isn’t effective enough to keep the sweat out of your eyes. It might work for people who sweat less, but in that case, it’s hard to justify buying it at all, as you’re unlikely to need that level of sweat management anyway. In both cases, I’d recommend a standard terry cloth sweatband instead. It offers better value for money and absorbs significantly more sweat than this headband.
