I take methotrexate (original developed as a cancer medication) and there are side effects. One side effect being mouth sores. As such, my doctor prescribed Folic acid, which I didn't metabolize well. So, then we when to Rheumate, which is a Folate (methyltetrahydrofolate, simpler form of Folic acid). Finally no mouth sores. Came across this product & it has more methyltetrahydrofolate than the Rheumate, plus other goodies, as well. As my psychiatrist recommended the higher level of methyltetrahydrofolate to balance my mood, so, win-win.
