Five star with a caveat
Install is easy, you will need to adjust laser site - read the manual, there is a common glitch addressed in the instructions. If you canโt or wont read the directions, thats on you. Once sited in for your choice of distance. I usually match my laser to the iron sights at 20 yards. Good place to start. I know the description says itโs factory sighted for 50 feet. Ive got 3 of these not one has ever been sighted for me at 50 feet from the factory - you may get lucky. Is that a big deal, not at all. With this particular site, be aware that it adds considerable girth to you grip. You are probably going to have to added an extended mag release. I have a big glock hand xl to xxl glove size. I stilled found that on my gen 3 Glock 19 I had to add an extended release. Without it i had to shift my shooting grip. For reliable mag ejection you need it. Works with all my regular holsters. Would be nice if the grip part had a little texture. Gen 4 and 5 folks your guns have nice big mag release buttons, gen 3 and earlier- beware Now good parts, very intuitive to use, pretty tough this unit has been tested from wasit high drop to hardwood floor. Still works great and zero was not changed. I like the laser being mounted high and close to the axis of the barrel, less parallax than lasers mounted under the barrel. The green is nice and bright in all but the most bright sun. Typically changing the batteries does effect the zero. But always check. Great laser for all but the most extreme conditions. If you want extreme- go Surefire but bring your big check book.

The best choice for a home self defense gun.
I have this on a Gen 4, Glock 19. On installation you do need to add a small spacer for the Gen 4. Very simple to add and not noticed after installation on the Glock. Installation only calls for the removal and replacement of one pin. They provide the slightly longer pin for the laser. While the laser does not add much to the profile of the gun. I would not choose this for CCW. As soon as you grip the gun the laser will turn on. There is a small switch you can move to turn off the system when you put it into a gun bag. I have very big hands and my trigger finger does not block the laser when off the trigger. The laser was quite easy to adjust to center the bullet at a 20 yard target. After about 50 shots the laser position has not moved at all. The laser is not noticable until you place it on a target. Then the light will bounce around enough to allow you to see objects in a blacked out room. The green laser is strong enough to be seen very clearly in the daylight at any self-defense range. I think this is the perfect laser to have for home self defense. No need to turn on a light since once you grip the gun the laser provides enough lumination when it bounces off an object. You can keep both eyes open and the bullet will hit where the laser is pointed. I would not spent my money on a red laser since it will not provide the full day and night functionality of the green laser.

Overpriced and under quality, Crimson Trace does not stand behind its product
I had purchased a backstrap laser from my Glock, 23 It's stopped functioning right after the warranty was up. Crimson trace only offers a fifty percent discount, giving me a price of $158.00 to replace it under a warranty. Crimson Trace for the cost of this product you think you would be getting better quality with a company that would stand behind their product. And they don't.

No special holster required
Back in early 2019 i got one of these. Used. It worked nicely for a long while. Recently-ish, the activation switch began acting up. My armorer suggested I contact CT support. They were very helpful and we concluded with CT offering me a 50% off Retail replacement. Nice! The replacement works like new. OK... it is new. I hate to overuse the word Awesome, but... there are so many great things about this laser. Green shows up way better than red. Squeezing the grip activates it. It fits with all my L2 and L3 holsters. And, as a bonus, it works with my suppressor! Sure, I did the geometry before I got the suppressor and was very happy when I saw that the CT would not be occluded. I use Trijicon sights, not RedDot. The sights are occluded. CT seamlessly integrates with my existing setups. Exemplary customer support - more responsive than I was, and they offered an ideal solution to my issue. If you're in the market for a laser sight, one of these grip lasers is the only way to go.

Glock 19 Gen 2
Easy to install, did need to use brass gunsmith hammer for new pin and proper punch to seat flush. Iron sights of Glock aimed at 2" target, safe direction, then switched on laser and it was dead on at 12 yards. The Green laser is bright and should work in all light conditions...Note Very Bright in dark room. Installed on Glock 19 Gen 2

expensive but a great enhancement
I purchased this for my Glock 19 gen 5, fits perfect. t's clearly an expensive item for what it is, I purchased with the thought that it might get sent back if I wasn't 100% pleased. I'm happy to say this is an amazing item. The fit is what had me concerned based on reviews here an online elsewhere. It does add some bulk but nothing that gets in the way with my grip or shooting ability (I would say I have medium size hands (male)). What this gives you (if you are already an experienced shooter) is the ability to hit your target without having to get your sighting locked in up to about 10-15 yards. For shooting further (or closer) it also allows you to sight in way faster then without using the product. And I was able to accomplish this increase in my sighting in an hour at the range. Last, you can see this laser (green) outdoors in bright day light easily 15 yards away, which you can't do with the red laser. I have had it installed for 3 months with no issue and I have this on my EDC, and I have put at least 1000 rounds of range time through it. So far its great. If you looking for a laser for a G19 I would give this a try.

High and to the left!
Easier to install than anticipated. Feels nice in the hand. Crazy bright at night. Unfortunately, probably the more important aspect is that it was not accurate once installed. Iโd expect a little fidgeting being needed, but this was more than a little.
