Not worth the price, Buy direct from Dashskin instead
This was delivered today. I was looking forward to this to cover the cracks in the lower dash area. Box came damaged i have pics of that. I opened the box and skin " Looked" correct. I went outside and placed this over the dashboard of my 08 Avalanche LTZ. The top section would need to be shaved to may it lay correctly. The lower section no matter how i pushed pulled pressed, there were gaps all over. To attempt to make this work would require cutting it into 3 sections and using a heatgun to get it to mold to the dash. I noticed the center piece that goes around the radio was bowed. No matter how much i pressed this was not going to stay. Then on the same area the was nearly .25" gap between the skin and the original dash. You would think for a dash skin like this it would at least fit and lay flat. This doesnt. It came in a 6 ft long box 12"x10". Packing played a huge issue im sure as this is crammed into this box. Dont buy this get one from dash skin company themselves. This is nothing more then a cheaply made knock off

Looks fantastic. Like a new vehicle.
Fits perfect on my 2010 Tahoe. You will need TWO ADDITIONAL tubes of silicone for the one sent is only 1/3 of what the directions require. I found black silicone which is great around vents where you will see the clear after it's installed. Excellent product. I did a lot of research on the two or three different manufacturers of dash caps and even spoke with the folks at accu-form and they are the Originator and have the nicest quality and precision cut product. Looks great installed! Do it, get rid of that cracked dash. I wish I did it sooner.

Great fit & easy fix for a busted dash
Easy fix for a busted dash..will have to trim a little on some of the edges to make it fit how I want it, but overall super happy with this. Not to mention, the customer service was great...the guy called me before he shipped it to make sure I was getting the right one.

How I Installed My 2009 Suburban Dash Cap
I separated the top dash part from both bottom pieces, at the bottom of both curves. This was all I needed to cover the cracked top dash in my Suburban. If I used it as is, there would have been plenty of gaps and they would have been made worse as the day and sun heated the plastic. As used, I was happy with what I have and accepted the gap where I cut the bottom pieces off. The top was held in place by my applying a three inch strip of double sided tape on the outer ends, door side of the dash; forget about the glue. This was adequate to hold the top in place, and allow heat expansion and contraction . What I did to make it more cosmetically appealing was cut a length of thin plastic tubing length-wise, so it would slip over the cut edge of dash and give it a finished look. The tubing can be painted to match whatever color you make the dash cap. I left mine black over my gray dash and is perfectly acceptable to me and I'm a fussy car guy. I painted my tubing silver, to match the dash accents.

Test fit and trim before you glue it in.
I think itโs easy to install, you just have to take your time and make sure you have plenty of weights for the top of the dash, and plenty of support to press the above the glovebox, and around the radio. I test fit the dash cover first, and trimmed to make it fit tight. Looks great!!!
