What is the minimum weight?

It’s digital so it should not matter, it starts at zero then measures whatever you put on it.

How accurate is it for small fish? Tournement this weekend the winning fish was 1.7, mine was 1.3. So the accuracy is very important

This scale is sold on its own without the grippers here on amazon and someone reviewed there, tested the accuracy to a maximum of 2% error with an average of below 1% error... see the review here https://www.amazon.com/review/R2HRLLBIY0KK96/ref=ask_dp_lswr_rp_hza The scale without the grippers can be found here https://www.amazon.com/Rapala-Mini-Digital-Scale-50lb/dp/B001NXC7PO/ref=sr_1_1?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1535237975&sr=1-1&keywords=rapala+mini+fish+scale

Wouldn't the scale weigh the grippers also?

If you put the grippers on the scale before you weigh, then reset the scale, it should measure accurately.
