The Komelon 9901 Gripper Closed Case 100 ft. Tape Measure is a must have for measuring distance and also marking a straight line between two points. I have used this measure mostly for measuring the distance around my property.

My wife and I are building a house and have bought many different tape measures during this process. For the longer measurements we bought 50 and 100 foot cloth/fiber tapes. These do not work well as they stretch when pulled so you can never get an accurate or repeatable measurement. This steel tape solves that problem. This seems to be a heavy duty, well made tape measure. It does not stretch, is small enough to put in a pocket (barely), and is easy to read. I have only had it a few days, so I can't vouch for it's durability, but I think it's a real winner!

Typically a tape like this will have inches on one side for construction and tenths on the other side for engineers, or sometimes centimeters. This tape has feet and inches (non-cumulitave inches) on one side and blank on the other side. It's a real shame because it otherwise seems like a decent product. It's consumer grade and it'll get the job done. Maybe this was designed with something besides construction and engineering in mind. It's hard to complain for the $9 I paid for it and I might not return it just because it was so, it works, and it may come in handy.

This flexible tape measure is exactly what I expected. It is properly marked and is well built for the price paid. Great for home use and handyman projects, less so if you're earning your living from it...though at $10 you could break a couple before moving up the price scale to other models. It always seems like I need one of these but never bought one even though my dad always had one of the fancy brands of these that's lasted him forty years or more. I finally bought to help me more accurately measure the cabling I'll need when I move my TV stuff...everything but the TV that is. All of you who want a different scale, I'd just mark up this ten dollar measure with a paint marker. Do the math once. But then again if you're writing down your measures...it's a measure now, calculate later process anyway. For $10 I can use my enfeebled brain to remember that three feet is 36 inches. They taught us the tables up to 12 and even in my math-challegned mind I can get to 144. The lesson here from this product is teach your kids fundamental math. The times tables are important to the higher maths and used in life everyday. I fought it in gradeschool and paid a price. Should have memorized up to at least the fifteens. Bottom line, if you need a flexible measure this a great buy for $10.

This tape measure is manually rewound and likely not as easy and efficient as the more expensive models, but it did the job easy and is self explanatory. It is good quality and I am very happy with this purchase. It is very slim and stores in a small space. I'm grateful to save the money since I won't use it often enough to warrant any unnecessary bells and whistles.

Needed a good tape measure for laying out post positions for a vinyl fence I was helping to install. Totally satisfied with my purchase.

Really like this. You dont often need 100' tape measure and this one works for when i do. And for the negative comments about the inches starting over every foot...can you imagine how small the inches would need to be at 100 feet? 1200 inches? Think about it for a minute then go grab another tape measure and compare. yea this thing would have to be a huge tape or you would need magnifier to read. Fits in my hand and I don't have huge hands. rolls up good. Paid 7.99 and had free shipping. worth 10 bucks no problem. would it last with every day construction use? No. you would need a 30 dollar or more one. Updated to 5 stars. its still working great with no issues.

Product seems decent quality but does not have metric measurement markings. Unacceptable to sell a product in Canada that doesn't have metric. Sending it back for a refund. Edit: OK I see they sell a similar model that also has the metric measures. I have amended my rating of this one up to 4 stars.

Great tape. Alittle slow to wind up

Specifically bought this tape for doing wheel alignments on heavy duty trailers and when I got to use it the first time it felt great, it was super smooth and rewinding is effortless due to the recoil spring and the nylon coated steel blade has a good strong feel to it. Highly recommended !

50 feet measuring tape is more than adequate for most work. The only minor problem I have is that it doesn’t have metric measurements. You can always use the calculator.
