I should have gotten this so much sooner. I have a dog that is always in my room, the air began to have a strange smell, the first day using this air purifier, the air was so much more breathable and the smell had gone. Super easy to set up, the size isn’t obstructive, easy controls, the low setting is is quiet enough for me but it can be even quieter with the night mode for people who enjoy silent sleeping. Very effective and I definitely sleep better with the cleaner air, definitely recommend to anyone considering

I’ve been using the LEVOIT Core300-P air purifier in my bedroom for a little while now, and I’m honestly impressed with how well it works. The setup was extremely simple—just unbox it, install the filter, and plug it in. Within the first few days I noticed the air in my room felt noticeably fresher and cleaner. One of the things I like most is how quiet it is, especially in sleep mode. I run it overnight and it’s quiet enough that it doesn’t disturb my sleep at all. Despite being quiet, it still does a great job pulling dust and allergens out of the air. I also have pets, and it definitely helps reduce pet hair and odors in the room. The size is perfect for a bedroom—compact but powerful. The design is clean and modern so it doesn’t look out of place, and the controls are simple and easy to use. Overall, this purifier has been a great addition to my home. If you’re dealing with dust, allergies, or pet odors and want something effective and quiet, I highly recommend the LEVOIT Core300-P.

This air purifier by far works the best especially for people with severe allergies!!I've tried other brands and they did absolutely nothing,when i clean it you can see that it does the job collecting allergens and dust (i also have cats).I can actually breathe better with it.The fan is quiet can barely hear it .I run it at all times due to small apartment and bedrooms upstairs there is barely ventilation.I recently ordered a second one for my sons room and works fantastic!!So I have one for each bedroom upstairs and they are great. This size is perfect for bedrooms but get the bigger one if your looking for living room or a more open area!! Either way i would recommend this brand to anyone and for the affordable price its worth it!

An air purifier is not a complicated device. It is a fan, and an air filter. The fan pulls air through the air filter, and catches various particles and impurities in the air. As long as you have a decent HEPA filter, and a fan that has enough velocity to circulate the room air through the filter effectively, it will work to clean the air. You can build one yourself with a box fan and some high quality furnace filters and duct tape if you have to. So what distinguishes this one from the hundreds of others out there, why is it so popular? (1) Low up front costs - this has enough power to handle a small room effectively and a true HEPA filter at a pretty low initial cost. (2) Easy to live with - the fan is very quiet except on high, and even on high it isn't obnoxiously loud. Changing the filter takes about 10 seconds and is easy to do. There is a pre-filter to catch large dust/animal hair and the like which you can vacuum to extend the life of the HEPA filter for small particles. The unit itself is not huge or ugly, so it can sit in the corner of most rooms without being objectionable. (3) Available filters - this unit's extreme popularity means that there will likely be filters available for many years. (4) It does work - I bought an air quality meter after the recent wildfire smoke episode, and it shows me that this thing does a pretty good job in small rooms. In bigger rooms it will still provide some benefit, but it is really not able to move enough air quickly enough to clean a large room. Downsides: The filters are relatively small, so they will have to be changed fairly frequently if you run the unit constantly. How frequently? I don't know, your mileage will vary depending on how many pets you have, how much wildfire smoke is in your area, etc. But I would expect to buy at least two a year if comparing this to other units that may have larger filters you need to change less often. So think about the total running costs and not just the up front cost when comparison shopping here. If you are thinking about saving money by trying to run this in a bigger room than it is designed for, don't go down that road. You do need to size your unit to the area you are trying to keep clean. A large room needs a larger unit with a bigger fan and a bigger filter. Also, all of these things are quieter if not running on high. So it is better to get a bigger unit even one that handles more than you are asking it to, and then run it slower and change the filters less often versus trying to save money up front and then driving the thing as hard as it will go to barely get any benefit.

I got an email about certain “skunky” odors emitting from my apartment building so I did some research and found this air purifier. There is basically no set up required, you take it out of the box, plug it in, and adjust the settings however you’d like. It has 3 fan modes, on the lowest mode it is actually quieter than my tower fan across the room. On the middle mode it’s audible but not super loud. On the highest mode this thing is LOUD. I have it set up in a 575sq ft room to prevent smoke odor from creeping through my AC vents and door cracks. It sits on the bar top right behind me and I turn it on high in the morning and let it run for 25 minutes, then I have a toke. I blow the smoke over the air purifier and within about 45 seconds all the smoke is gone. Once I’m finished, I leave it going for another 25 minutes on high and then turn it down to low until I want to smoke again. This seems to do the job pretty well. They have an option to turn off the display which is helpful at night because when there is a bright blue light glowing while you’re trying to sleep it makes it tough. There is also a timer setting, which is amazing for when I smoke right before I leave. I can set the timer for it to turn off in two-hours. It’s easily portable, too, which was an important feature for me. I sometimes smoke in my bedroom if I am having pain flare ups or depressive episodes and I needed something I could easily unplug, pick up, and set on my night stand in my room. All in all, this is a great little air purifier and works well for small rooms to contain skunky smells.

Very good air purifier!!! Does a good job. Has a gentle hum that I find pleasant. Does cast a dim light in the room. Easy to change the filter. Bought the charcoal filter and it worked great to clear the air from a new carpet install. Very well build and dependable after 9 months.

This device should be a must-have for hobbyists and allergy sufferers. Recently had 11 yr old rug removed from my hobby room and vinyl plank flooring installed. The dust from the that process was incredible, highly visible cloud. I placed the Levoit in the room on high and closed the door for several hours. It worked extremely well. Heavier particles had to be vacuumed and mopped, Surfaces wiped down, but I only had to do that Once. It runs on Whisper while I sleep, it's easy to maintain a clean room now and I'm healthier for it. My PC will thank me later for the lack of dust.

This was a second purchase of an air purifier. I wanted something small that would cover a wider range of space. So far, so good. The unit is quiet on level 2, but noisy air flow on level 3. However, the unit is most efficient on level 3 for removal of odors, smoke, etc. Mine is in the living room, so I am pleased with performance in that room. I wrote the product assistance department and they gave very good advice that is not included in the setup information. To lengthen the life of the filter, open the bottom weekly or bi-weekly to vacuum accumulated dust from the unit. You will be able to judge the efficiency of the unit and improve the quality of usage. I would recommend this vendor product and buy another if needed.
