I do have the game color set. does this overlap or is it a good addition to the game color set?

The main difference between game and model colors is the vibrancy. Game is more geared for fantasy while model is more grounded in historical models. That being said, it can be a fine overlap. Nothing says you can't use both, but game color is something I use for D&D, whereas model color is saved for things like Star Wars or Fallout when I paint. So, in the end, it's really up to you
