Yes-they wrap around to nicely protect your peripheral vision also they are wonderfully dark to protect against bright sunlight

Are they large frames

I'm not even sure they would be considered medium size frames. Ultra tight(unwearable) on me but I have a huge head.

lenses considered category 4? Are they very dark? I need very dark cat 4.

I had to look up what the category 4 meant for glasses. To be honest I am not sure if these glasses are category 4, but I can say this. If these glasses were any darker they would be unsafe.
