Perfect baby doll.
This is the PERFECT first baby doll for your little girl. I'm so happy with this purchase. The doll is beautiful and great quality. She can sit up on her own, she's soft and her eyes open and close. Her face is so cute and she's the perfect size for my toddler. She was my daughter's Christmas gift, she's almost 2 years old but I think this would be the perfect gift for any age little girl!

Beautiful doll
This doll is beautifully made and has a squeaker in its chest. It cannot sit up very well but it’s eyes open when the doll is lifted and they close when the doll is lying down. The age range recommendation of 2+ years old sounds about right because it is wearing an intricate outfit. If I was on a deserted island and could only bring one thing, I would bring this doll. It is worth every penny.

Wonderful doll for newborns.
Received this for my daughter. Now purchased for granddaughter and great granddaughter. Madame Alexander dolls are precious and very well made.

Presentation box damaged, shipping box pristine 🙁
I have purchased each one of my granddaughters a huggums soft body doll for their first birthday. The dolls are beautiful, the presentation the outfits, the quality, etc. They have a premium price, because they are a premium doll. I don't mind paying extra for an heirloom quality doll. I do however expect to receive what i pay for. The shipping box was intact and not damaged or even dusty. However, the dolls presentation box was smashed! Luckily the doll itself was not damaged in any way. It was absolutley shipped to me damaged. Do better!

Perfect, loved it

I was SO excited to receive this doll. It had a vintage charm and looked perfect for a little girl, but man what a let down. The colours are much different in person. The doll appears to have a soft colour pallet but the actual doll clothing is much more vibrant than in the photo, the lips are like a hot pink and are more open than the photo - the blush was only visible on one cheek. It is a very lightweight doll, it could not sit as the photo suggests. And the thing I disliked the most was that the head is not proportioned to the body, it looks much smaller than it shoudd. Given the less than stellar quality material and what it looks like in person, I would price this more in the $15 category, not $50. It was promptly returned.
