Seychelles Women's Scoundrel Bootie

This shoe looks fine but I found the fit a bit tight. I am not good at sending things back so I am stuck with it but I do like the look! I guess I would advise people to go a half size larger to be sure.

I would recommend these boots to anyone. I literally wear them everyday with leggings and a sweater or hotpants and a nice blouse. They are the best boots I've ever bought. They are so sturdy and really well constructed. The leather was really nice and stiff at first and I was pretty scared that they weren't going to age well. However, now that they are broken in, they are even more comfortable and they still look really badass. The gold tone buckles are noisy, yes, but in really the best way--like the dudes wearing spurs in old westerns. Ultimately, I wanted these boots for a long time but didn't want to pay the Jeffrey C. price and was scared after I read several reviews saying his version was not great quality-wise.... so I got these bad boys and the rest is five star history!

This was my second attempt at buying these boots - I originally ordered them in 8.5, which is my regular size, but they were so small I could barely zip them up. After waiting for them to pop up in a 9 for what seemed like eternity, I just bit the bullet and ordered the 9.5. To me, going a full size up seems to have been a good decision, at least when I wear them with socks. I think 9 still would have been too small. This is unusual for Seychelles, because I have many pairs of shoes/boots from them and they usually fit very true to size. Another issue I had was that these boots had visibly been tried on before - the left boot was wrinkled as if someone had been desperately trying to wedge their foot in. The gold on the heel of this boot was also scuffed. In the grand scheme of things, I will probably end up amassing similar wear and tear on these boots, but it was a disappointing to receive a $100+ pair of shoes in such a condition. Aside from the sizing and packaging issues, I absolutely love the boots themselves. They're incredibly cute and comfortable. Although I am normally not one for shiny gold accents, but these don't feel obnoxious at all. If they're still available in your size (or one size up from that, anyway), GET THEM.

These boots look great but I couldn't even get the left boot on my foot and my feet are not different is size so I think there may be some quality control issues with sizing. Since I couldn't even get the one boot on, I needed to send back. I love this style and wish I could find one that would feel comfortable on my foot. I also ordered a 1/2 size larger than my regular size but I think I would need a whole size up but I won't be reordering since given the price, this boot did not seem worth the money.

The size runs true but the boot is narrow at the ball of the feet. Its hard to slip the boot on and the zipper is difficult to do up. I'll have to break them in so they can fit.

I received the boots and immediately loved them, however, when I tried on the left boot I found 4 sharp nails sticking in to the sole of the shoe!!! Luckily I had stepped lightly and discovered the problem right away. Of course these went straight back! I recommend gently putting your hand inside the shoe before putting your foot in it to avoid hurting yourself. Very disappointed as the shoes are really very cute.

OMG I LOVE THESE! A co-worker friend, who is a total badass and roams the halls wearing these, mentioned I should jump at the chance to own these boots in 2 colors (oxblood and black) and I happily did without ever trying them on and I will never look back. They are beyond comfortable! I have a wider foot, size 8, and these are perfect. There is zero "breaking in" time with these. Just put them on and wear them for 12 hours long! They dress up every outfit and are the less boring/ordinary option to wearing flats. What I secretly love is strutting around, hearing the subtle jingle of the buckles. It reminds me of spurs, like I'm about to go and jump on a horse and ride bareback into the sunset, and the sip a super chilled martini after. So good!

Not leather, rubber heel. Not worth the cost.
