Fast cook, PERFECT every time, EASY clean up.
Easy to use. Perfect poach in 4 min 30 sec once water is boiling. Despite what others have complained about the egg wells do NOT overflow. Grade A Large Eggs fit about half way up the egg well. 1. Put an inch to an inch and a half of water in the pan. It should come just up to the bottom of the egg well. Set to boil. 2. Grease the egg wells with a little butter or cooking spray. Crack eggs in them being careful not to break the yolk. 3. When water is boiling, put the eggs in and cover. Let cook for 4 minutes 30 seconds. I did some experimenting with times and for me the above comes out PERFECT every time.

Totally Perfect poached eggs!
Arrived quickly, exactly as described! I had it two weeks and have eaten more perfectly cooked poached eggs & eggs Benedict in that time than in the last five years! Followed the directions: 3/4” of boiling water, sprayed Pam in the egg “holder” and with the egg in the “holder put on a lid for 3min 15 seconds. The eggs dump right out with no sticking and are poached perfectly! Easy cleanup and storage. Absolutely the perfect egg poacher vis-à-vis cooking and clean-up! A+

Perfect Poacher
I have a long history of failed poached egg cooking. I've ordered this guy and I am having great success finally! I smear a little butter inside the cups before putting the eggs in then put it in my instant pot with 1/2 inch or so of water then set it for "STEAM" for 4 minutes. Works to get me runny yolks, whites done every time. Easy to just wipe out the cups afterwords. Recommended product.

PERFECT! Poached eggs the easy way.
Perfect! these are the best way to make poached eggs effortlessly. 5 Minutes in the steam and the eggs are perfectly creamy with a firm outside and fervently runny yoke. No bothering with submerging and straining. Recommended.

Cooks a perfect egg, the yoke is soft and the white is cooked
Cooks a perfect egg, fits inside a pan I already have. I can make just one egg or two. I do spread a little butter around the inside of the cup, tip it upside down, give it a tap and the egg comes out perfect. The cups clean very easily. I would recommend this egg pouches.

replaced all of my other egg poaching things
I prefer my poached eggs to have a completely runny but warm yolk and have the white set as much as possible. I've tried a large variety of other egg poachers from here on Amazon, but this is the nicest one I've used so far. My wife is pleased that I cleared out all the past failed experiments from our cabinets. I got the six-egg version. In hindsight, the max eggs I make at once is four, so the set of four probably would have been sufficient. Now I have two extra cups in case anything happens to the rest. Speaking of the cups, they do work wonderfully for XL and even jumbo eggs, which was always a problem with my previous poachers. I use mostly XL eggs, sometimes L. The cups have a nonstick coating but without any fat/oil they have a weak grip on the cooked egg that can tear it as the egg comes out. A tiny dab of room-temp butter on my fingertip is enough to run it around the bottom and sides of all the cups. The thinnest of coatings is all I need, and when cooked the eggs will just slide right out. Then I crack each egg into its cup. I have to be careful to distribute the weight properly; I made the mistake once of not paying attention which four sites I used in the six-rack and the whole rack swung like a hammock and dumped the eggs on the counter. Oops. I'm still experimenting with recipes, but I'm using a 12" skillet with a lid. For four eggs, I put only about 1 cm of water into the skillet and bring it to a full boil over high heat. I take the lid of just long enough to put the egg poacher in place, and then leave it covered on high heat for 3 min, 45 sec (L) or 4 min (XL). Then I remove the skillet from the heat, remove the lid from the skillet, and let the poacher sit untouched in the water for another 90 seconds. At this point, the eggs are ready to be removed from the cups. The knobs are still too hot to touch, and too small for tongs or an oven mitt or even a silicone grip. I have found a paper towel folded a few times works great for my hands. I put a utensil on the top of the cup to keep the egg from leaping out, and tilt it to the side to drain off any water that fell into the cup from the lid. Then I can transfer the cooked egg to plating. I have a hard time controlling the flip of the egg, it comes out upside down half of the time. The egg will finish the cook as the temperature equalizes and then cools. Normally I use the dishwasher for everything, but I've been handwashing these cups. They feel very thin and I'm a bit worried about the dishwasher eating away the nonstick. Fortunately I have a palm brush that lets me suds them in one motion, and then a quick rinse. I let them dry in their own rack in the cabinet.

Perfect Poached Eggs
I absolutely love this egg poacher set! The stainless steel rack is sturdy and fits perfectly in my pot, and the nonstick cups make removing the eggs a breeze — no sticking or mess at all. I’ve tried other poachers in the past, but this one stands out for both quality and simplicity. Highly recommended!
