I run this on my 2011 STI. Tokyo roki make an excellent filter. Same as the black Subaru filters. Slightly bigger too.

Fits on a WRX
Was looking for an equivalent to the Subaru OEM filter which is no longer made in Japan. This one is made by the same JDM supplier as the earlier Subaru part with the correct bypass pressure and fits the Subaru EJ25.

Best for Subaru
When I bought my Subaru the seller was a real wizard with Subarus and he recommended this filter. I change my own oil and I don’t need any tools. I just hand tighten. I’m a gen x lady and just recently learned to do this. It’s so easy. The filter is very high quality, sealed, well packed, and simple to use.

Perfect OEM oil filter!
This is the exact OEM oil filter for the S2 RX8! It comes in the Mazda dealer packaging as well, you shouldn't have any leakage as long as you aren't overtightening the filter or accidentally double stacking the filter gaskets, always double check. The cost is great at $13 a filter, I prefer the OEM filter over any other aftermarket filter options.

Appears to be Nearly an Identical Replacement For The Subaru Forester OEM Oil Filter
While not my first choice of oil filter for the 2020 Subaru Forester and alike. It is manufactured by the same Japanese company used by Subaru on their new vehicles. Therefore, I have been using it while the car is still under warranty. Currently, as of this writing, there is a shortage of Subaru oil filters used here in America. This filter appears to be a better replacement for those being used to replace them. This is an opinion of course and not an endorsement or an official statement of any type by anyone. If your Subaru vehicle is out of warranty you may want to also consider the Purolator Boss filter for its allegedly better filter media. As always be on the lookout for counterfeits. The filters I receive appear to be genuine Mazda oil filters. Thank you! Best of adventures to you.

Perfect quality and fit for 2023-2024 Subaru OBW or any Subaru 2.4 L turbo engine! Way better quality than expensive blue filter!

If used for a Subaru, you need to buy separate washers.
Great product. Using these in my Subaru STI. It comes with a washer for a Mazda oil pan (obviously) but the filter itself fits the STI perfectly and has more capacity than the OEM filter. Just need to buy some washers that will fit the STI oil pan. Will definitely be buying more of these in the future.
