I bought this item on Decembee 8, 2016 for my son, who is 6 and always needs so.ething to chew on. It has been wonderful, and I have done my best to make sure he has worn it every day. After a phone call from the school yesterdsy, I realized my son has not worn it this week. The staff has seen a HUGE difference in his behavior without his chewy. They report that while chewing on his lego chewy, he is able to sit still longer, and pay attention more. I am super excited to hear this wonderful feed back. Because of it, I am not looking to purchase two more! After readinging through the product information, I now realize there are different strengths for each color. While this green one has held up great since Christmas, it does show the wear and tear on it. Because of that I am going to try the blue one which says it is stronger than the green one. I already have it and a red one in my cart. I am going to read the red one's information before purchase, just to make sure its for an aggressive chewer. So, my only adviceis to pay attention to the chewers level of chewi g and read the product description to make sure the color you are looking at will support the chewrs needs. Like I said, this green one has held up great and the only reason I am buying more at this point is so that the school has one on hand if he forgets his green one, and so that I have an extra one on hand incase something happens to his green one. I love this product so much and so does my son! Im so happy someone created it! EDIT: After writing this review I went to look at the colors and noticed that red is actually rated at soft. So instead I have added Purple and Teal to my cart because they are rated at Extra Extra Tough. On top of the toughness differences, I saw a couple of other people talking about the clasp. I did forget to mention this aspect. Yes, it is a "cheaply made" clasp, and it does break away nicely when pulled on. From a mother a d a teachers point of view, I believe the creator made the clasp in this manor for safety reasons. That way the child can not be choke by the necklace. With that said, the length also adds further safety for our children with more than enough room so they do not choke. *I have added a picture of my son with his green one when he first started using it. I will come back later and post a couple more picture of what the chewy looks like later today.

i really love this one! if you bite it a certain way the little nubs make a crunch noise and it really satisfies that urge to bite everything. its nice and firm and easy to keep track of as well :)

My niece uses a bunch of different chew necklaces, and I recently got Invisalign and we’re supposed to chew on a specific thing daily, and so I asked my sister if I could have one of my nieces brand-new chew things, and it actually worked OK it was too firm and I didn’t like it that much so I looked around and I got this one which I love, and will probably chew on even when I don’t have Invisalign. At my dentist check she said that I was still making the progress necessary so it was OK to continue to use this instead of the two things that she gave me. So I def like it it. It’s not too big or too small for an adult mouth, the chew gives a satisfying bounce, and I can align it so it’s just my front teeth chewing or I get a nice satisfying compression with my back teeth.

My son likes this chew. He uses it at pre-school because he has a hard time sitting still and staying focused at circle time. He likes to chew on things like his shirt or fingers or other objects so this is a good replacement for him to keep him orally stimulated. This chew has stood up to him biting on it a lot. Has not broken or deteriorated at all. The only downfall of this necklace is the clasp that keeps the necklace on. It is a small black plastic piece that my son ended up chewing and breaking. This necklace is long enough that I don't think it really needs a clasp at all, it can just go over my son's head. But since he broke the claps, we had to find another string to go through and use so it can still hang on his neck. Not the biggest deal. I would buy this product again.

Our child is a sensory chewer, and we needed something soft enough for him to chew on but sturdy enough to handle strong biting. Then we found the Ark sensory chews—an absolute game changer for us. Our child loves the cool Lego-style brick design, and the added texture gives extra sensory input. It’s a win-win! It has lasted over a year, and he only wanted a new one because he wanted a different necklace style. These are definitely a great value and built to last for years, not just weeks or months like others. They’re also easy to wash and keep clean, which is a big plus.

Great idea and sturdy but a little too hard and large for my 7 year old. May be better for an adult.

I have a major chewer with ADHD. This has helped him tremendously. It has definitely been worth it for us.

My son loves this especially as he often ‘mouths’ things when he’s building Lego or other construction toys. He loves the look, size and sensory feedback he gets from using this and it saves chewed toys, clothes, etc. Robust and looks good.

this arrived in good time and was as advertised. I am actually using it to chew on instead of snacking and - working well

100% safe and extremely durable product. Purchased on 31st July 2018 (so one month now) and it doesn't have a single bite/chewing mark on it, despite the fact that it is in daily use (on occasion all day). My only concern block pattern is near perfect to leading toy brick brand and my give wrong ideas. Thankfully it doesn't connect with any of them. It's mentioned in description and shown on sellers pictures that pendant string is fitted with emergency clasp. That works well although I would recommend to test if it's not to tight/loose before final user (in my case 6 year old) will test it on bush branch and lose it without noticing. Very good product.
