SA Smoothing Cream for Rough and Bumpy Skin with Salicylic Acid and 3 Essential Ceramides

Can feel it working. The urea & salicylic acid combo is a good % so you only need a thin layer. I have skin on my forehead that flakes too fast, this combats that. It dissolves the flaky layer then moisturises & protects the skin barrier. On application you can feel slight tingling- that's the cream working on the bumpy or flaky layer. I also have bumpy lower legs that I've been using this on. Again can feel the tingly effect for a few minutes. But I can genuinely see some difference. Note- I've only had this for a few days so a difference already is surprising.

This is quite thick which I wasn't expecting. Not sure if, by the time I get to the bottom how easy it will be to get the last bit out as the plastic is quite thick! I find that a lot with creams and lotions and much can be thrown away as impossible to get out unless you cut the bottom off. However, my arms, neck and throat area at 2 weeks have vastly improved there chicken skin look. It hasn't vanished completely but I have weeks left to decide if it was worth it. My elbows have drastically improved....I had stubborn skin problem with touch of psoriasis on my left one....and for me this smoothing cream has got rid of it! But I am also using the foaming cerave wash so it could be the combination of both things at 2 week stage. Having had the rough, ugly and sometimes very sore patch for 3 years I am not sad to see it go! So thank you for that cerave! I haven't noticed any kind of scent which is nice to be able to use a little of a moisturizer I adore which has clean scent of ginger so it doesn't interfere with scent you want to wear or body spray. I felt the price was fine given other competitors selling much higher and plus there are options now for subscribing to a monthly or intival plan. As I didn't know how long the item would last for me I wanted to trial it ...but I will.be buying again as for me my skin is soft and being sensitive don't need the worry of flare ups. It's improved my skin so I would recommend it but my skin is aging and needed the boost!

I bought this hoping it would help the KP on the backs of my arms, and it didn't. They felt a little smoother, but the multitude of red dots remained. I persisted for quite a long time with it too. The cream is excellent for dry skin - I have really dry elbows that nothing has ever touched, but this does an excellent job of keeping them soft and moisturised. The cream is incredibly sticky, even if using just a small amount and for that reason I find myself not using it too often. It's an amazing cream and if it sank in to the skin quickly I would use it all over, every day. But there's been times where I've used it on my arms and legs in the early evening after a shower and have still felt sticky from it hours and hours later when going to bed. But I also felt very moisturised... This isn't the miracle I was hoping for by any means, so on with my search I go. It smells strange, it isnt scentless. It's not a nice smell... But it's not necessarily a bad smell, to me it smells very lightly like jalapenos.. strange!

This worked surprisingly well! I have bumps on the tops of my arms no matter how much I exfoliate- this made a difference after one use. After 4 uses, they’re just about gone! No skin irritation either.

I have never had very good skin - since it has always been acne prone - but I managed to keep on top of it with various products. Then three years ago I was diagnosed with thyroid nodules and hyperthyroidism. I had to have RAI and then developed hypothyroidism. Over this time all hell broke loose regarding my skin. My acne got worse, and I developed KP on my arms and legs with scaly patches, and skin tags (which were removed). I also had Seborrheic Kerastosis and hyperpigmentation on my face and arms. I could never be seen without a thick primer and foundation. I spent a fortune on all the usual "acids" and Ameliorate (for KP) and it just seemed to get worse. Then I found CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream. The reviews looked so good that I optimistically bought the large pot. I can honestly say from the first day I tried it I was very impressed. The KP on my arms and legs and the scaly skin almost immediately started to improve and has now vanished. Although not meant for the face - I tentatively tried it on my SK. As elsewhere it caused no adverse reaction and is slowly reducing that as well, and appears to be helping with the hyperpigmentation too. It is still early days - so I am sure things can only get better. At first I only used it on certain areas of my skin - but because it has proved to be such a great product - I shall now use it more widely over my body to smooth and moisturise. I highly recommend this product to anyone with skin problems.

Requires a bit of trial and error. Found that if I didn't use a large amount of product, this would actually further dry out my skin and cause flakiness. Wasn't a big fan of the texture as it's overly thick, which makes it difficult to work with, and ironically, a little dry to the touch. Had better results when I used double the amount I normally would, mixed with a bit of baby oil. After which my skin texture did eventually improve. However, I'd recommend other products on the market with similar active ingredients, especially when considering the size and cost of this one.

Yes it works! 😁 I have psoriasis skin and all the creams to smooth makes my skin dry. This makes my skin smooth , reduces discoloration and moisturizes.

Après quelques temps d'utilisation de cette crème, j'ai pu constater ses effets. L'effet exfoliant de cette crème est vraiment intéressant et a pu permettre de lisser certaines parties de ma peau. L'odeur est très agréable, tout comme la sensation de la crème dont la texture est fluide et n'est pas trop grasse. La sensation est donc plutôt agréable et non trop prenante.

J’achète et rachète cette crème qui m’aide vraiment à lutter contre ma kératose pilaire. After roughly 2 days my skin was already starting to clear up, it has no air seal though

Really great for dry skin. Gets absorbed really well so doesn’t leave a greasy feeling on the skin. My skin feels and looks great just after one week of use.
