These are my favorite light weight guitar strings. They have great sustain and bright sound quality on my Yamaha acoustic guitar. They also last a good amount of time, due to the coating on their surface, and have a good feel to them. Even though they're a little pricey, at $20, they last me a year, so I don't have to change strings as often. I definitely recommend these strings. D'Addario makes a great guitar accessories!

I absolutely love these strings. I play everyday for upwards of 4 hours with breaks in between and these strings last me a good month. Only reason I replaced the last set after a month is because the d string snapped on me when I was tuning up for open e. Otherwise they were still good! Natural feel which I like as a finger picker and they last forever.

I am not a great (or even average) guitarist by any stretch of the imagination. I moved to semi-coated strings a while ago, because.... I am terrible. I have tried a lot of them, and when it comes to regular phosphor bronze strings, I love the sound and feel of D'Addario strings, but they are really beyond my skill level. I was looking for a way to cut down on string noise between slides and chord changes. I have been using the Taylor semi-coated strings and I wanted to give these a try. I am sure, anyone who is a high level intermediate player or better will love these as they feel like more traditional strings. I am definitely not knocking them. They have lasted forever (about 5 months-- I don't play the guitar that has them much, as I can't make these strings sound good). If you are a low level intermediate or beginner player, you will find Taylor's are much easier to play. Again, this is not a knock on D'Addario, this is a commentary on my mediocre skills and what works better for me. If you are looking for semi-coated strings that have a more traditional feel, buy these. If you want to reduce finger pain, and string noise, try the Taylor's.

Absolutely amazing strings. After researching multiple guitar strings for my acoustic guitar with the purpose of playing fingerstyle, even after considering Elixir strings, Ernie ball, I choose the D’Addario XT guitar strings. Specifically for a few reasons: that when put on a guitar even though it’s coated, protecting against wear, feels like an uncoated guitar, resulting in the lack of that slippery “unnatural” string feeling. Furthermore, the tone and brightness is even, where the bass isn’t very exaggerated, and the treble is full and warm even by themselves. Overall, installation of these guitar strings are very easy, having colored ball ends to decipher which string goes where, and it is an amazing value for money. Being which was cheaper than the guitar store near where I’m from. Highly recommend for fingerstyle.

These have been my FAVORITE guitar strings recently. I used to use Elixirs but I got sick of the extremely smooth and glidey feeling from the strings. I love these strings because they have that great natural feel while still lasting a few months without needing to be changed. They have a beautiful ringing and deep tone that I never get tired of. Will they outlast Elixirs? Probably not. But they are perfect for me and I enjoy the process of changing my strings so that does not bother me.

Nice strings , best I've tried so far for sure . I would recommend them if you've never tried them before. They're a little pricey but I'm hoping they will last a little longer the others I've had.

Queste corde non sono fatte per competere in durata con altre dotate di rivestimento, e dunque è impossibile chiedere loro questo. Al momento comunque fanno il loro dovere da tre settimane senza essere peggiorate anche se suono tutti i giorni e se le mani tendono a sudare parecchio visto il clima. Hanno dato alla mia Larrivee 40 OM R un suono fantastico, naturale e caldo e garantiscono buona scorrevolezza, necessaria per me che suono con le dita. Unica pecca è il prezzo Amazon che è mediamente molto più alto di quello praticato in qualunque negozio di musica online. Si risparmia qualcosa con la confezione da tre, ma restano più care di quanto dovrebbero, considerando anche il prezzo presente sul sito della casa produttrice.

Best sounding acoustic strings i have found hands down. They are smooth and play great, the tone is very clear and the bass is deep and mids and treble are crystal clear.

I got it for my classic guitar. It is 6 metal set, the sound it different from the 3 metal, 3 naylon sets I highly recommend it.
