Airthereal ADH50B Air Purifier with 3 Filtration Stage True HEPA Filter for Small Room, Bedroom, and Office Whisper Quiet - Day Dawning

Bought this because the specifications noted it runs on a 120 to 12v adapter. While it doesn't come with a 12v direct plug, I was able to cut/splice in a cigarette lighter plug, and it works great running on the 12 volt in my trailer for those rare but inevitable california smokey days. I was hoping to use a standard 5.5*2.1mm DC plug, but this uses some other size I couldn't readily figure out. Still works great and as other users have noticed, is relatively quiet. Perfect for my small travel trailer.

This little beauty is perfect for our needs! I am allergic to cats, but have four (they were all adopted BEFORE this cat allergy emerged). We've set this up in our bedroom to reduce the amount of cat hair and dandruff around that make my eyes itch and water, and I've DEFINITELY noticed a significant improvement and the filter (which we empty and clean weekly) shows that it's gathering quite a bit of what we want out of the air! We run this 24/7 and the noise is barely noticeable to us. We hardly have ever used the sleep mode, but find that it is just as promised when we do. Over all, I'm planning on purchasing even more of these for other rooms in the house because it is a wonderful value for money!

Seems good as a desktop air purifier - my eyes are not as irritated and itchy after a day at my office desk. This is supposed to be a true HEPA filter unit, which may filter coronavirus, but I have no way of testing or verifying that. Nice compact size, easy to use. One drawback - it sucks in air on all 4 sides of lower half, but blows the air on the top, so I can’t direct the purified air towards my face. ( that is the recommendation for planes - to have the “fresh air” flow directed in front of your face to make a barrier against dirty air) Prompt shipment

We use this one-room unit in our first-floor home office. (We also have a filter on our central heating and a large semi-portable filter in the full basement.) The purpose of our unit is to reduce the amount of dust around our computers. We have also purchased a unit for each of our sons for Christmas presents, and we have had a unit shipped to our niece in Washington state to use in her new baby's room due to the forest fire smoke. The tubular filter has a large surface area for the size of the unit. The fan speed we use creates a modest white-noise sound somewhat like the sound of a light rain on the roof. The box of replacement filters (for the ADH50B unit) says "HEPA", "Removes 99.97% of dust, pollen, smoke, and odor" - it does not list viruses. Opinion: Will afford moderate protection for our sons and for the baby and currently protects the computers and equipment. Not medical grade. This is a table-top, ONE ROOM (bedroom sized), single filter device, 10+" x 6" x 6". It is not for an open-concept, multi-room-sized area. Nor is it a multi-stage, semi-portable unit like I have in our large basement area...and it does not claim to remove viruses like the superior filters I use on our central furnace/air system.

the delivery is very very fast！！！ I received it next day. The size is portable not too small not too big and also lightweight. I can handle it very easy with one hand. also it is easy to setup . it has a touch screen for multiple modes. sleep mode make me hardly hear any noice！it is so quiet！this is a very good air purifier ！Highly recommend for people like me！

This is my third and the first one to have a higher noise level. The other two are quiet and make a white noise. This one makes more of a low level rattle. I am going to see if I can exchange it. I have it in the kitchen where the noise is not annoying but I can't move it to a bedroom.

This is SO quiet at night, I was amazed. Even on high in the living room it is hardly noticeable, and after just an hour or so I could already tell the air was better. My roommate is allergic to cats, and I just adopted two, so I got this for her. She says it is really helping, and is going to get another! A real bargain for such good air quality. Added note: we now have three, and plan to get a fourth. Our rooms are small. A friend who is allergic came to visit. I put the u it from my room, on sleep mode, in the guest room three days before she arrived. She said she had no reaction at all! That’s the best testimonial I can offer.

Was skeptical of it's small size, but my seasonal allergies this year was THE WORST EVER. PUT ON NIGHTSTAND 24/7 AT FULL POWER. 2 DAYS AGO THE WHITE LIGHT STARTED BLINKING. FIGURED DEAD. NOPE IT WAS THE "REPLACE FILTER NOTICE" I BOUGHT THE EXTRA FILTER WHEN OFFERED AT A DISCOUNT IF BUY EXTRA FILTER WHEN BUYING A BRAND NEW AIR FILTER WITH A BRAND NEW HEPA FILTER INCLUDED. GGOD OUTCOME 1. WITH MY COVID MASKS ON (I never usually think ahead) I carefully moved filter to bathroom and over toilet pulled the now 3 month HEPA filter out AS DIRTY AS I'VE EVER SEEN A USED UP HEPA FILTER. THE EXTERIOR OF THE UNIT HAD EVEN SPOTS OF ACCUMULATED DIRTY AIR AT THE INTAKE ATEA. IT WORKS. DOES IT HELP WITH SEASONAL ALLERGIES??? I just realized while replacing the old filter that my allergies had been gone .... But have no idea when they stopped. Glad I bought it after so much incision.
