It would have been nice to have instructions. But I bought it knowing the parents that were there would have played it when they were young so they taught their children how to do it. They all had fun.😊

When searching for recess activities with middle schoolers who thought it was fun to hit each other, I thought back to recess activities I enjoyed in 6th grade, and Cat’s Cradle was a favorite. I’m pleased to say that it also became a favorite with my students. I ended up ordering a second set because so many wanted to play. Watching “way too cool” 6th graders practice over and over again to master the different patterns was hilarious and a lot of fun. Many used yarn and embroidery thread to make their own string loops to practice and show off at home. My only negative is that the adhesive will pull apart if a student gets a little excited. I had one “break” the first day when I was separating the strings to pass out.

My daughter started doing cats cradle and wanted strings for herself and friends. This was perfect! Great value! Good quality but we still have some if they break!
