Highly recommended for Amateurs. Affordable and good quality product.

This is an amazing piece of hardware, a great choice for a newbie flight sim runner like me. It's a budget option but does not compromise on quality. I tested this right after getting the delivery on X-plane 12. BTW I bought this game just to try my hands on flight sim. MSFS is too costly and I was not sure whether I will like the whole flight sim stuff or not. Hence for testing waters, I bought this game. T.1600M FCS worked flawlessly with the flight sim. Found a small challenge in finding the Yaw control (I am a complete newbie !!). But went to support.thurstmaster.com and found a control mapping for this joystick. IMPORTANT: Please install the Windows driver first from same support website (support.thrustmaster.com) first. I did that and then connected the joystick. It was recognized instantly and the status showed ok on Thrustmaster app. Cons: It's a bit difficult to control the Throttle as well as X-Y-Z axis with one hand. I found it cumbersome and had to use left hand to control throttle which was not easy, considering I had the Joystick at my right side (where mouse is kept). I a thinking of buying a separate throttle joystick or the Airbus add-on just for controlling the throttle. I think buying T-Flight X edition would be mores sensible since it has a separate throttle stick and you can separate the throttle for left handed operation. Wish I had known this. Budget: Bought in in Amazon Freedom Sale. Can't complain on price. No issue with Delivery. All in all I am enjoying my first flight controller T.1600M FCS from Thrustmaster !!!

Thrustmaster T16000M FCS is a perfect option for newbies. Easy to plug and play (recommended to install T.A.R.G.E.T). Well it's my first HOTAS, better I don't compare it with any other at the moment. Happy landings:)

Gekauft als preiswerter und guter "Notersatz" für das Spiel Star Citizen. Es gibt haufenweise gute Testvideos zu diesem Joystick. In dieser Preisklasse ein sehr guter Joystick. Natürlich hat er Schwächen, aber man kommt gut damit klar, auch als "Einsteiger". Die Software funktioniert, auch wenn man sich gut einarbeiten muss um komplexere Profile anzulegen, man hat aber sehr viele gute Möglichkeiten. Auch gibt es zu vielen Spielen bereits gute vordefinierte und leicht anpassbare Profile. Fazit: Klare Kaufempfehlung für Joystick-Einsteiger und Fortgeschrittene, die Wert auf eine stabile Lerngrundlage legen, Adaptions bzw. Funktionsmöglichkeiten zu schätzen wissen (bei moderaten Einstiegshürden) und Wert auf eine solide Präzision legen, ohne sich direkt ein sehr teures Setup zu kaufen. Der Joystick hat viele Einsatzmöglichkeiten und ist solide genug gebaut um lange Zeit viel Spaß damit haben zu können. Wer aber bereits einen High-End Joystick in der Hand hatte, der merkt natürlich, dass einige Abstriche gemacht wurden. Diese sind aber oft nicht "Kriegsentscheidend" und man zahlt für bessere Produkte auch DEUTLICH mehr Geld. Ich hatte auch schon Joysticks in der Hand für den 4-5 fachen Preis, die dem T16000M FCS deutlich unterlegen sind in Ausstattung und Präzision. Für High-End-Süchtige: Finger weg, falscher Gimbel um langfristiges "Mercedesfeeling" zu erleben. Die Verarbeitung ist ausreichend gut, aber der Abstand zu wirklicher High-End-Ausstattung ist deutlich seh- und spürbar. In meinem Fall war es ein Notkauf, da mein Wunschmodell nicht zeitnah verfügbar war. Man kann damit aber ein paar schöne Stunden verbringen, nur gibt es einige "Kleinigkeiten" die mich dann doch nerven, die für den Preis aber vollkommen OK sind.
