Excellent product ,exceeded my expectations. There is a definite steep learning curve,on the first use . Followed a Vid on youtube for wiring an SG. Switched to a hotter soldering iron after the first two connections,and the results were most satisfactory. I doubt I will ever need to by more of the Gavitt braided wire as the length of wire is enough for about ten + guitars. It's a real pleasure in this day and age to receive good value for money!

Got this to rewired my Gibson years after my teenage self decided the stock wire "wasn't good enough." That was a couple years ago, and it gets almost weekly use in a live setting, no issues!

I use this to rewire guitars. The worst part is undoing the braid but that's not the fault of the wire. I don't like just cutting the braid and only using a part of it. I'm just OCD that way. Keep in mind, this is REAL, old-school wiring. The main conductor is insulated with fabric so it's not as easy to strip as wire insulated with PVC or other plastics/vinyls. If you want an authentic rewire of your guitar, this is the stuff.

It works as advertised, but I never could get a nice solder on it. No matter the temperature or how much flux I buried it in, the stuff just refused to flow into the braid and left a cold joint. It works, and it's hidden inside the guitar but I know there's a cold joint in there and it kills me inside to know about it. I think I may have had better luck if I cleaned it in some kind of degreaser first, but at the time I didn't have the option.

For sake of braided wiring, it works well and is flexible and durable. Cloth surrounding the inner wire is durable but can be a pain to work with when you haven't done it before. All in all, I discovered that this type of wiring just isn't my cup of tea but the quality is definitely there!

Needed this for a project I'm working on just what I needed.

No obstante, recomiendo ver algún video en YT antes para saber cómo manipularlo de la mejor manera posible, no es un cable convencional.

Es robusto y a la vez no es grueso en exceso. Aún no he podido probar cómo acepta la soldadura, pero tiene muy buena pinta

Cheap wire at a premium price. Much thinner than original equipment in the guitar. Very disappointed and I will not be using it. Won’t be ordering from them again because it took a month to get.

El cable muy delgado no es como.los que trae mi guitarra gibson original pero se asemeja debería de ser un poco más grueso
