Works great if you have the 8 hr batteries you need this charger it works the best than putting battery in unit to charge!

Inogen battery charger
I received this battery charger very well, safely packaged. The charger itself was also protected in Inogen's heavy-duty air bubble envelope. I intentionally ran the charge down in one regular-sized battery for my oxygen concentrator, then attached my new charger to it. My battery charged up from 3% to Full in less than 4 hours. I am very satisfied with this product.

No car adapter, cannot use in car
Very easy to use. If you have multiple Inogen G3 batteries is good to have. Unfortunately this external charger cannot us in car. There is no car adapter available. Price is too high for an external charger.

Cost control?
My inogen came with the ac power supply for charging the battery “on board”, as I’m sure they all do. The battery charger comes with a duplicate ac power supply. Now you have two of them!! The ratings of each are identical. Same voltage output, same current rating, same wattage!! What you needed is the charger module! Reviews indicated the charger connector is delicate and arrives broken or breaks easily. Not true. Very well constructed. The extra ac power supply is an “overkill” but you always have a fully charged battery when you need it!

I put off buying this because of the cost. That was a mistake - it is so handy to have I’m amazed. Wish I bought it sooner!!

Expensive
Works great, but way too expensive for what it is in my opinion. But when you have to have it - you pay whatever they ask.
