PEScience Select Protein Powder, Whey & Casein, Cake Pop, 55 Servings

I think I'm literally going to cry I'm so happy with this stuff. I was drinking Isopure for years and they changed their formula to something unpleasant. This stuff though? Similar macros, tastes great, blends beautifully. I think I found my new protein home. For context: I got a little 5 serving sample bag of the cake pop (it comes with a scoop in the bag, don't worry!). I put it together the way I usually do. So for me, that means 2 scoops of protein, 2 scoops of my collagen powder, 1/8th a tsp of xantham gum. I add 16 oz of water and shake it up- I don't use a whisk ball, I just let the air in the bottle do the work. Top it off with a little almond milk and extra flavor if I want it (I like to use a splash of chai concentrate usually). First: It blends like a DREAM. No clumps, no grittiness, just smooth. And it is THICK. I really didn't need the xantham gum, and I probably wont use it the next time. Second: Okay, when I opened this bag my first comment was 'it smells like cake mix'. And drinking it- pretty much like drinking a thin cake batter. I'm usually not one for a lot of sweet, but this sweet is pleasant without that artificial grossness that makes some other protein powders undrinkable. Third: I did a quick little bit of math and this is pretty much mid-range for price at this kind of macro set up. It's just slightly higher than my Isopure was, but I'm not bothered in the least. This stuff is worth it. Tldr; smooth, tastes great, I found my new protein powder and I couldn't be happier!

Can I give it 10 stars? First let me say I’m very picky when it comes to protein powders, drinks, bars, anything low carb. I often can’t handle the taste of the sweetener and the taste of the protein with a horrid aftertaste. So I ordered this sample pack to try. Oh my goodness it tastes just like a yellow cake that has been blended with a vanilla icing. It’s so good! Just to have a sample taste I mixed one scoop and the scoop is quite large with 4 ounces of cold water and 4 ounces of darigold fit whole milk, delicious. It mixed easily with a spoon and made a very drink, even the texture and consistency was very creamy but so oils be due to the milk. I plan on ordering a large container right away and look forward to incorporating this into my lower carb, lower calorie, higher protein diet. The uses I believe will be endless. It would make a great milk shake, or in Greek yogurt. Using in a coffeehouse style drink and making a chai latte is high on my list. I look forward to trying other flavors. Just buy it!

I’ve just recently started getting back into more intense workouts and strength training. This protein powder blends up easy and isnt grainy at all! It also tastes delicious, like a special after workout treat. I’ll definitely be purchasing again.

The protein itself is great quality! Mixes amazingly too! But beware, it absolutely tastes horrible. Its reminiscent of Pinnacle Whipped vodka, and chemicals. Hoping the other flavors are better tasting!

I was hesitant to get the cake pop flavor due to mixed reviews. Damn I’m glad I did. My new favorite flavor. If this is as good as I think it taste I am dying to know what sugar cookie taste like next. I thought Ryse Jet puff was good for a while but this is farrrr better than that. Especially in my ninja creami and my cream of rice bowls.

Honestly just doesn't taste very good. Pretty standard vanilla flavor with a slight cake batter taste, nothing specific to "cake pop". It's really grainy and doesn't blend very well. Overall just doesn't taste super good. The macros are fine.

Was looking for a cake flavored protein powder to use for some protein cookies. I had never tried this brand, but thought the flavor sounded good. It was absolutely great! The cookies tasted amazing and baked very well. Sometimes certain protein powders don’t do well when baked, but this one made the cookies taste amazing and had no problems. I have also used it for protein shakes, I add some peanut butter so it can be like a peanut butter cake flavor🤌 fantastic. Definitely recommend trying out some recipes with this. Did not hurt my stomach, which some protein powders do. I have pitched this multiple times, and will be purchasing again
