They aren’t top shelf, but they cut surprisingly well!
These honestly impressed me. Now, I didn’t rate these 5 stars in comparison to Ken or San brands. I rated them based on their own merit, in their own class and price. I’ve machined brass, aluminum, mild steel, 3 & 4 series Stainless and a few mystery alloys with these and I’m impressed. The only time in a couple weeks of work I broke an insert was in turning the wrench flats off of grade 8.8 bolts (interrupted cut) which carbide doesn’t love anyway, but I wanted to see what I could get away with. Might upgrade the inserts when the time comes, but the tool holders are surprisingly nice.

Great tools at a great price
I'm really very happy with this set. I needed a variety of high quality carbide insert holders and these do the job. They are very sturdy and use an insert size that is widely available. I've purchased cheaper sets and been very disappointed, both in the quality of the holder and the quality of the cutting bits that came with them. This set is worth the expense. Great tools at a great price.

Worth the money
These are nice and work well on my South bend heavy 10 lathe. They cut Steel, Aluminum, and Brass well and use common size inserts.

I like the quality for the price was just right for the small amountof parts I cut. Cutting steel shafts with them. works very well.
