Did the scroll frame come with the stand? if so, what are the dimensions of the scroll frame? Will this stand handle different sized frames?

This scroll frames comes with an multi positioning stand to accommodate stitching at any height needed for your hand stitching and or quilting.  The stand comes with an oval frame (dimensions 17 1/2"  x 18 1/2").  As to if the stand would accomadte different sizes of hoops...only is you could purchase an accompanying form to attach to the stand.  I would definitely make this purchase again...oh wait I have when I ordered another one for my daughter.

I am looking to buy f.a. edmunds multiple size cross stitch scroll frame set. can you confirm if all three frames can be used with this stand?

Yes, this is actually F.A. Edmunds Universal Craft Stand combined with the 9"x 24" Split Rail Scroll Frame. According to the description at the F.A. Edmunds web site for the Universal Craft Stand: "Constructed from durable American hardwood, the 37.5" stand holds hoops, stretcher bars and scroll frames of all types and sizes."

Question 3

I'm working on a piece that the material is 24" wide. Would it fit on this frame?

I myself get all different widths to fit on my frame by folding one side then rolling up on the rollers. When I complete the non folded area I then repeat for the other side of my project.

Can the stand be used from the side, rather than the front? I'd like to use this while sittung in a recliner.

I don't think you could use it from the side, however, I have used it from a recliner.  It is adjustable.
