Fine for tools, great as a purse
I'm at the age where I don't want to waste what precious time I have left digging for stuff in my purse. This tool bag has everything I was looking for: structure, a reinforced bottom, a zipper closure, a crossbody/shoulder strap, made of sturdy materials (nice heavy waxed cotton canvas), and sooooooo many pockets inside and out! One larger (which can fit a smartphone), two medium (gum, Clif bars), and four smaller (for keys, lip balm, etc) on the outside, four big ones on the inside (wallet, phone, Kindle Paperwhite, snacks), and the top of the bag opens wide so you can see and reach everything easily. And it looks nice! It's a tool bag, so it's built for more durability than a purse. I opted for the 12" bag, and it's big enough for my purse needs; if you have kids, or want to be able to stash your lunch/water bottle in there too, I'd go for one of the larger ones. When I buy one for my actual tools, I'm going for at least the 15" so I can fit my impact driver and a backup battery in with the rest. I've paid twice as much for a purse half as functional, so it's a great deal. It's on the expensive side for a fabric tool bag, but I still think it's worth the money.

Cool, sturdy little travel bag for my bike tools
I like this little bag. I use it for a bicycle tool set that I take on road trips so it moves between my RV, my truck & my house. Iโve got tools in my โworkshopโ so these are โtraveling toolsโ (as in โif I canโt fix it with whatโs in the bag, it ainโt getting fixed till I get home or taken to someone that really knows what theyโre doingโ). So, itโs full. Probably weighs 8 pounds. Seems sturdy enough for my needs & I like it (I really wanted the saddleback leather $160 toolbag but, on a long list of indefensible things Iโve done in the spirit of cycling, that proved a bridge too far. Even for me). This seemed a good compromise ๐. BUT, I move the thing around three or four times a week. I donโt use it professionally (in any sense of that term). I think if I were doing something for everyday professional use, Iโd probably be thinking less about โcoolโ and more like โI wonder what would happen if I dragged this behind my truck for 100 miles with 10 pounds of sand & broken glass๐คจโ. I like the bag. Itโs cool. Iโd buy another. Iโll be tickeled if it lasts 10+ years. But Iโm just a hobbyist. I donโt use it for real work Oh, and the shoulder strap is kinda silly. I sorta think if I need a shoulder strap for so met this this small, I might be doing something wrong.

Absolute best Heavy Duty canvas tool bag!
I ordered this as a go-to bag to carry tools for the maintenance that I do on my and family members houses. The bag is absolutely the best bag I have ever had and/or used and there have been many! I first ordered the 12" bag thinking that it would be the best size, but after a year of cramming so many different tools to try and cover a multitude of tasks at locations away from my house where I have all my tools and equipment that I ordered the 18" bag, so if I need the extra space for extra tools, it can be carried all together. These bags are great and have side pockets perfect for accessories such as flashlights, Pliers and many other need accessories.

Nice bag with some possible durability issues
I bought this bag to hold my sharpening gear for my chef knives and straight razor. It does that well. It looks modern with a traditional yet elegent zing, which is great. However, the first time I opened it (as soon i pulled it out of the box), the stitching on the hand cushion thing came away at the seam. This is obviously manufacturing error as it had no use at all by that point. But, considering it's a cosmetic imperfection only, i can live with it. I'd of course preferred for it not to have happened though. With that said, I've been using the bag for its intended purpose for the last few weeks with no issues at all. You do have to be careful not to overfill the inside pockets or it won't close. To be honest, that could have been considered a little better in design. You also have to be careful to ensure the zip is fully unzipped before trying to get inside of it, as the brass zip can be a bit sticky. Overall though, it's a nice bag and meets my intended purpose.

nice bag
i like trying a lot of different tools bags. this one is right up there with Klein, CLC etc. It has a heavy duty wide toothed brass zipper that operates easily, pockets inside and out, heavy duty shoulder strap clips and the bag is made of a heavyweight waxed canvas. I believe Klein carry bags are made with #8(18 oz) canvas and this is #6 (20 oz) so its pretty stiff and heavy duty.Should break in really well. Even when u pick the bag up empty it has some good weight to it. So far no complaints and will put it to the test at the job and see how it goes

Product is as described.
This is a great bag for small jobs, it's sturdy canvas and has just the right amount of tool pockets for them, it keeps the tools organized so that you can easily find them at a glance.

Nice bag, but doesn't hold your tools!
This bag has so much potential! I feel it is well made, but the pocket are so shallow your tools will fly out constantly! I hope they alter the design and make the pockets a little deeper on the inside and outside of the bag. What's the point of a nice tool bag if it doesn't actually hold your tools?

Rock solid tool box made out heavy canvas
Very tough, sturdy and beautiful canvas material with a nice rustic look. Shaped to stand upright like a rock, even filled with heavy tools. I bought the 12'' version to have a small handy tool bag around the house filled with frequently used tools, including cordless drill, several pliers, hammer, screwdrivers, screw/nail collection, etc. The only suggestion for a slight improvement I have is to make the side pockets a bit deeper.
