Well, I went through several of these non-HP cartridges between an M254dw at home and an M281cdw at work. And I never "not" had a trouble with any of them. So for the M281cdw at work, I only use HP cartridges. My current trouble at home with M254dw was that when I began using non-HP color cartridges with a genuine HP black cartridge, non-HP cartridges started bleeding ink. First, the magenta toner was getting sprayed everywhere and eventually would cover the whole page. And when I put in new set from another vendor, cyan color started acting up and began leaving blue streaks. So I searched long and hard for a reputable vendor with a lot of positive reviews. I am so glad I found this one. I only installed the cyan cartridge for now, but the blue color comes out beautifully and so bright. I love it! And no streaks! I will have to see how other colors measure up to this, but I am very happy even with only cyan working correctly, considering its very low price compared to HP cartridges. I will update this review as I use other cartridges from this set.

We purchased the Greensky 202A toner cartridges as a replacements for the original HP cartridges. We installed them last week and are very pleased with the clarity, color, and over-all quality of the 4 cartridges. The new cartridges were easy to install and the directions included were clear and easy to follow. So far no issues at all. We are very pleased with these cartridges!

I didn't write this, but I found it on Reddit Since HP scrubbed the software from their site (Bastards) and someone posted a drive link in the HP Form, which I figure will get taken down...I linked it below and added the steps. The latest firmware upgrade forces you to use genuine toner. I didn't type the steps or try them, but I walked someone through them and they worked. Downgrade steps from HP Support Form: Since HP is the culprit here by updating the firmware to block all users who use after-market toners, I believe. I downgrade the firmware driver with this version and it worked. HP_LaserJet_Pro_M280_M281_Printer_series_20200612 Steps: on the printer, go into the printer's Setup | Service | LaserJet Update | Manage Updates set Allow Downgrade = yes, Allow Updates = yes download (HP_LaserJet_Pro_M280_M281_Printer_series_20200612) and run Point that to your printer, mine took few times since my printer connected wifi. After downgrade on the printer, go into the printer's Setup | Service | LaserJet Update | Manage Updates set Allow Updates = no (so the firmware doesn't auto-update and break compatibility again)

I am SO happy! I previously ordered a 202X (high-yield 4-pack of toner cartridges) for my HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281CDW printer from another vendor and the printer wouldn't print because the chip wasn't compatible, despite the product description that included my printer. The vendor sent a second 4-pack which also didn't work (to their credit, they offered a refund after the second try). Today I installed two of the GREENSKY cartridges (cyan and yellow) and they work beautifully. No muss, no fuss. I don't need the other two cartridges just yet, but clearly GREENSKY has the right chip and their product costs much less than HP and much less the other non-HP vendor. GREENSKY will be my 'go to' supplier from now on.

At first, I was skeptical when I bought this toner but when I tried using it, it's one of the best toner I ever had even better than the original HP toner.

Print quality degraded after only 4 months of light usage. The Black toner cartridge leaves spots and streaks even after multiple cleanings. I submitted a request for support on the Greensky website that promises to respond in 24 hrs and I have not received a response in over 2 weeks. The 202x is compatible with my HP M254dw laser printer but it is my experience that it is not designed to work reliably. It is just a matter of time before my other color cartridges are likely to start exhibiting the same problem. I was hopeful that Greensky would stand behind their product but it seems their support is non-existance given that they have not contacted me on how to fix or replace the defective cartridge. I recommend anyone considering using a non-HP printer cartridge to look elsewhere.

This is to help people out who upgraded their M281cdw to the latest firmware that HP sent out to disable aftermarket toner cartridges. Follow the instructions on Reddit to downgrade your firmware. Make sure your firmware settings are correct first for accepting firmware downgrade. After the firmware downgrade, I ordered these aftermarket toner cartridges and it worked out for me. The firmware does recognize that they are aftermarket toner cartridges and gives you a warning but they actually work. The ink percentage showed 100% after I replaced it. These toner cartridges worked for me and I am happy with all the money that I saved. Shame on HP for forcing us to use HP toner cartridges on their last firmware update.

The toner cartridges fit perfectly into my HP LaserJet Pro M254dw printer. They are CLEAN—no toner dust all over, like some products. The printing is great and the price was incredible in comparison to the HP versions. I was at that point where I wondered if it was worth it to get new toner for my printer, since it's almost the same price to just buy a new printer—that comes with a limited supply of toner. So glad I didn't go that route. I decided that this was cheap enough that I could afford it if it wasn't good. But it it is GREAT! The only thing I don't like has to do with the printer itself informing me that I am not using HP products. Will only buy GREENSKY Compatible Toner Cartridge Replacements from now on.

This works perfectly with my HP printer and color quality is excellent. This costs a fraction of what the original HP ink costs, HP is ripping us off.

It did not work for me. My printer says not compatible. I need a refund as it says there is warranty. Pls return my money.
