This may be a stupid question, but i don't want to mess anything up. do i need to stick a pin in the top to make a hole or should i cut the tip off?

Mine all already had holes. Also, these are not alcohol inks either. Me and my sister bought them thinking that they were. Just a little FYI

Did anyone get the weird orange caps when ordering?

Hello, they are pins that help you pierce the mouth of the bottle. Hope this could help.

Can you use this paint for silicone dolls for touching up there lips? If not, any suggestions as to what to use?

This isn’t paint and will not dry. It’s more like the food coloring of the resin world. You would be lookin for UV curing resin.
