As someone with 9 dogs (my own plus rescues), I go through a LOT of dog shampoo and I’m very picky about what I use. I needed something that could handle strong doggy odor but still be gentle enough for frequent baths—and this shampoo has honestly impressed me. The biggest win for me is that it’s truly one-and-done. With most shampoos I have to wash my dogs multiple times to fully remove that outdoor “dog smell,” especially after they’ve been playing in the yard. With this one, a single wash gets them clean, fresh, and smelling amazing. Their coats look noticeably cleaner, shinier, and softer after every bath. It also lathers really well, and because it’s concentrated, a little goes a long way—which is a huge plus when you’re bathing multiple dogs regularly. It rinses out easily and doesn’t leave residue behind. I also noticed a big bonus: several of my dogs who tend to scratch after baths stopped itching after using this. Knowing the formula is pH balanced, alcohol-free, paraben-free, and PEG-80 free gives me peace of mind, especially since some of my dogs have sensitive skin. We usually reach for the lavender version of this shampoo for our sweet dog, but we decided to try out the oatmeal one this time. We were hoping it might help soothe his skin a little bit, and it really did seem to help him feel more comfortable after his bath. It leaves his coat feeling super soft and looking so clean. The only tiny downside for us is that the fragrance is very subtle. It has a lovely mild scent, but it is just a bit too light to fully mask that classic doggy frito factory smell we all know so well. Even with the lighter scent, it is still a wonderful and gentle choice, especially if you or your pup prefer very mild fragrances.

Have used this on our dogs for years. We have a Great Dane, had a Beagle, and now a Doberman puppy. The smell is great. It seems to help with dry skin in the dry winter season and it’s definitely makes the fur much smoother and softer to the touch. It lathers up well and cleans the dog.

This is absolutely some of the best dog shampoo I have ever used at home. The scent is gorgeous! Seriously, no more wet dog smell! I began using this about a decade ago on my little Shih Tzu, who struggled with sensitive skin, and it helped his skin and have him a beautiful coat. I now use it on Mu St Bernard and Great Dane. Beautiful coats and no itchy skin. I will continue buying this for as long as I have dogs... which will be forever 🐾

3rd brand of Oatmeal shampoo we had tried and this is the best! Not only that the shampoo smells really good and lasted for days, my dog's fur was way softer after use. We don't need a 4th now. This is a gem!
