Crescent 4" Adjustable Black Oxide Wrench - Carded - AT24VS

What can be said about this mighty little beast. It’s gotten me out of a pinch quite a few times since I’ve bought it. It’s got a good weight to it, fits almost anywhere. I have it on a Nite Ize G-series carabiner. Despite its small size you can still get a good amount of leverage(granted you are not removing lug nuts). The finish on it is perfect giving a better grip. In combination with a Knipex Cobra 100 this is the perfect setup for any out of the blue quick fix. It won’t fix your relationship, but it can fix most small problems.

Application - For a motorcycle EDC tool bag. I bought a few 4" Crescent variants and they functioned much better than the Klein. Got two from Amazon (the orange handle and this black oxide version) and also one from Home Depot (Orange/black rubber handle). All of the Crescents have an anti-backlash spring in the scroll wheel which I like. The black oxide seemed to have smoothest motion, parallel faces and least play so I rank it #1. The HD version is a very close second as it also has smooth movement, nice scroll wheel spring action and the largest capacity. I picked up two of the orange handle version and one had very coarse movement so I returned it. The other was descent and figured I'd try it out. Movement improved with a little oil but I recommend either the black oxide or the one from HD.
