Good filter quality, fit like oem. if your quick you barely loose the filter amount worth of fluid making a yearly change a quart of fluid and two filters...if you not doing it yearly get 5 quarts and let it drain a hour.

Used this to replace the HG52114 filters on a Hustler 48" Fastrak with a HydroGear ZT-2800 transmission. The fit is perfect and at a much better price than the HydroGear filters. Easiest way to get to the filters is to lift the back end up and remove the rear tires. That enables you to access the filter guards easily as well as the filters themselves. Due to the thickness of the 20W50 oil, it will take a little while for the oil to run from the reservoir to each of the transmissions. While there is a plug near the top of each transmission that would allow air to escape when they are open (with a allen wrench) mine were on so tight I couldn't get them to budge. Just slowly added oil into the reservoir and went about doing other things while it worked its way into the transmissions.

Good replacement for the Hydro-Gear 3100 series. The part itself works as expected and fit properly. My only complaint is that it arrived with no protective wrapping or packaging from the factory, which is disappointing for a new component.

No surprises! What what they said it was and did what they said it does. I always use these and their great, but at a little cost savings which is nice.

It was slightly smaller in size than the factory original but fit my Big Dog Stout with a ZT3100 Hydrostatic Transmission. I think worth the difference in price and nice having it delivered to my house rather than going to the dealer. Kit at the dealer was $98 plus tax. Yes I did extensive research on prices quality and how to change. I used Mobil One 15w50 full synthetic oil. I haven't noticed any problems with my mower and no leaks. If you have a ZT3100 Hydrostatic Transmission I would recommend this filter

These were the second pair of filters I’ve used on my Ferris IS600Z. The last pair I probably left in to long but when I did remove them the oil still looked pretty good so it makes me want to believe that the filters were doing their job. I will most likely use them again on the next oil change.

Description states that this replaces Hydro Gear 52114 filters, it's even printed on the filter itself. I don't know whether this is in error or if I simply received two badly manufactured units, but these would not thread on to my Husqvarna ez4824 in place of the Hydro Gear 52114 filters I had removed. I am returning this item.
