Thule Wingbar Evo, 50"-Aluminum

Great product!

I don't usually do reviews unless I'm really impressed with the product and the service. This hit all marks. The product was 1/2 price from quoted price in California. The product was exactly what I wanted, a new Thule Wingbar Evo in the original unopened box. Ordered on a Sunday and it arrived the next Thursday. I installed it with the usual moments of wondering what Thule diagrams (instructions) were designed to show, but it all worked out.

Overall this seems to be a high quality product. If the installation instructions were better I would give it 5 stars. Product arrived late (UPS) but arrived in good shape.

Got this rack delivered and installed fairly easily. It's quiet and a great rack, the real issue is the seller. I've seen multiple reviews with people that received damaged bars, and I had the same experience. Had to reshape the ends of the bar and hammer the end caps in just to get them to fit, as you can see by the attached pictures the end caps weren't close to fitting until I worked with it. Overall, great rack, but disappointed I had to do so much work to such an expensive piece of equipment just to make them work properly.

Didn’t come with directions. Absolutely infuriating to try to assemble. Seems like a number of steps could have been accomplished in factory but they skimped. You would think with the expense and reputation of Thule the product would be easier to manage…it’s not.

This is for the Thule wing bar 127 #711300, Thule has designed a rubber T strip for the top of the bar for easy access for your add ons. This strip needs to be pulled into two pieces and then slid onto the aluminum bar! after watching a video I decided to use dove soap and windex. This was almost impossible to accomplish as had to use mason gloves, I was getting cut at the aluminum edges. I'm very good at assembling things and this was beyond ridiculous.

Cela se fixe en deux temps trois mouvements.J’y ai personnellement fixé un coffre de toit d’environ 80cm de large, et un vélo adulte à côté.Attention toutefois les barres sont très larges (8cm) Ne se fixe pas avec tous les coffres de toit.Je pense que les coffres de toit qui n’ont pas de fixation « pince » (type thule ou bermude) ne s’adapteront pas sur ces barres de toit
