VAIS Technology SL3b-T Bluetooth Audio Adapter - Includes USB Charging Port

Easy install, works great. Although the application chart says 2007 and later Corolla, it works fine on a 2005 model.

This is simple plug and play. I ran into a few problems that were of my own doing. The instructions are printed really small so they are hard to read and are not very detailed. This simply plugs into the back of your factory head unit, BUT you need to plug the plug you removed from the factory unit and plug it back into the VAIS, they do not make that clear. The other issue that I did not understand was that you MUST emulate the VAIS unit to your factory unit. If you do not do this it will not only not show track info, but it might disconnect and then not reconnect back to your bluetooth device. Again, the instructions are small and super simple. I often use the camera on my phone as a magnifying glass, once I did that and actually read the full instructions, everything was fine. And still is fine. This thing works great. Is it worth the premium price? I do not know. There are less expensive units out there.

Not what I was expecting, kept dropping blue tooth on iPhone 6 And not very user freindly because Lexus locks accessibility once you start driving.

When I saw the price for this I was p!$$&d. 200 plus dollars for Bluetooth music in my 08 Avalon????? All I needed was Bluetooth music streaming. The factory stereo has Bluetooth phone but no music streaming. I tried other "cheap" units with no good results. I broke down and got the sl3b-t. Gritting my teeth about the price, I installed the unit. Did the 45 second immulation. Low and behold, it connected flawlessly. THE SL3B-T IS ONLY FOR STREAMING. IT HAS NO PHONE FUNCTIONS, but the factory Bluetooth phone does work. It even passes text to the top display. I have the JBL synthesis unit. The steering wheel controls do work.

Works well as a bluetooth connection and is compact enough for easy mounting. I was disappointed that the USB connection was ONLY for power and does not facilitate a hard wired audio (data) connection. It seemed pointless to have that connection on a device that was intended to be hidden mounted.

Love it. Brilliant sound quality. Easy plug and play fit. Flawless Bluetooth connectivity and operation. I can definitely recommend this product.

I ordered this bluetooth streaming audio kit after reading numerous reviews on multiple online forums for both the VAIS and the Grom units. The installation couldn't have been any easier. It only took me half an hour or so and most of that was removal of the dash and radio from the dash frame. It functions exactly as they describe, right out of the box. This even solves the annoyance of having to click the "I Agree" button on the older Toyota/Lexus navigation units. it even has a USB port which i used to route a cable through the dash and exit the driver's side of the center console so now we don't have cables coming out of the lighter plugs. i highly recommend this unit if you are considering adding bluetooth to your older lexus or toyota (or other vehicles they make them for)

I purchased so may different bt modules before finally spending the money to buy this one. Many of the other modules make you lose the function of your rear seat entertainment. Best bang for your buck. It emulates a cd changer and you can use your steering wheel control. Love it
