American Horror Story Season 8

Originals - good quality - scary - not for kids

I genuinely don’t get the hate for this season, it’s such a great love letter to longtime fans of the show. Although it does heavily focus on the coven witches, it’s just as much about Michael Langdon too, so it is a Murder house and Coven crossover as stated originally. Not only the coven and Michael langdon return tho, Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Basset, lily rabe and more all return giving one of the most exciting seasons ever. If you’re a fan of the show you will almost certainly really like this season, if you’ve never seen it before, it might be worth watching season one but definitely watch season 3 before this. Finally, the end of episode 3 remains to be one of the most iconic of the season, and probably in my opinion the best final episode of any of the seasons yet.

American Horror Story has been a class act since its first season and continues to deliver in style with this one. Once again, we have a group of human misfits and misanthropes cast adrift in an enclosed situation. Once again, we have cast members familiar from previous seasons. We even have flash-backs to some of those seasons, which is a nice touch. This might give the impression that we're being offered the same old same old in season 8. Far from it. It's as fresh as if it were a totally new series. AHS achieves this tv miracle by having genuinely inventive writers, perfect casting, great acting and a brilliant crew to make it all happen and capture it on film. An added bonus is that it's never just about jump scares and gore (though there are plenty of both). The writers actually invite us to think. That's quite rare in tv shows these days. I know I mentioned the great acting already, but really, what a superb cast. The central players have won Emmys, though not as many as the show's effects and make-up departments. If it weren't for the Horror label attached to it, I suspect that might be the other way around. The cast really are astonishingly good. Ideal watching as the world stumbles blindly towards the abyss...

This season starts strong, great storyline. Last few episodes are very ‘mish mash’. Feels like they forced too many storylines together in order to tie up loose ends, got away with it by the skin of their teeth…just

American horror story season 8 is epic it has a good story line and plenty of horror action thank you.

I like this series, it takes you back to season one and u find out afew things which is really good, definitely recommend to any american horror story fan

I absolutely love AHS and this is without a doubt my favourite season. I don't want to write too much to give away any spoilers but so good and very clever how they have brought other seasons together. Fast deilevery and DVD brand new ect. Absolutely delighted with this!

This is one show that if you didn't realize it, with this season it becomes very apparent that their all 8 somewhat tied together. I'd been suspecting that, even thinking that up to this one and it made it perfectly clear that yes, they are. WOW, can't believe they done that and got away with it but I'm sure glad they did. And the 'creature' is perfectly cast, so handsome and just like you'd imagine he'd be. All those twists and turns boggle the mind in a good way. I watched the whole 8 seasons straight through and have to do it again. As I write I just started season 4 last night. Halfway more or less and may have to go back and watch them all a 3rd time. Obsessed! Brilliant! Captivating! LOVE IT ALL. Fire

Gekauft wurde die Staffel, um die Serie zu vervollständigen 1- 7. Staffel bereits in der Sammlung, leider sollen Staffel 9 und folgende nicht mehr auf Blu Ray raus kommen. Finde ich wirklich schade, aber die Hoffnung stirbt bekanntlich zum Schluss- vielleicht gibt es noch eine Änderung. Diese Staffel hat mich richtig geflasht, da in ihr einige anderen Staffeln zu einem ganzen zusammen gefügt werden und wieder aufgegriffen werden. Einige altbekannte und gemochte Charaktere tauchen deshalb auch wieder auf- zur Freude der Zuseher. Die Schauspieler spielen ihre Rolle hervorragend, die Story und Handlung sind logisch und durchdacht und jeder Teil baut Spannung auf. Nach den letzten 2 nicht so tollen Staffeln mal wieder eine wirklich gelungene, mitreißende und spannende Staffel. 5 Sterne von meiner Seite und beide Daumen hoch für AHS Apocalypse
