VIVO 18 inch Under Desk Slide Out Drawer, Secure Home Office Storage Organizer, Black, DESK-AC03B

I needed a drawer for under the harvest table that I use as a desk. This one is very well-made--a good set of glides. It is easy to install--drill four lead holes in the bottom of the desk and mount four screws--pretty simple. It works perfectly.

Bought two of these for the desk I built. So solid. Good storage space.

overall I am happy with the drawer. It looks to be well built, very sturdy and was simple to install. My one complaint would be that is needs sliders that allow it to open more. If you mount the handle flush with the desk the drawer opening is about 6 inches past the desk and about 1 inch under the desk. That means about 40% of the drawer space not accessable. If that was more like 25% of the drawer was still covered i would have given it 5 stars I was worried about the drawer height of 4 inches but that is not an issues. the height i set my desk at leaves enough room above my legs. I measure other desk drawers i consider functional, they hold more than a pad of paper and a few pencil, and 4 inches was pretty common. If asked would i buy it again the answer would be yes. I needed a drawer that was not more than 13.5 inches deep for the desk I built and this does the job nicely. Now I am going to look for different rails to retrofit so the drawer pulls out furhter.

We purchased the VIVO 18-inch Under Desk Lockable Slide Out Drawer as an accessory for the 60 x 30 VIVO Standing Work Station (purchased at the same time). If you order a workstation with a tabletop that comes in two pieces, you might not be able to mount the drawer because of the solid drawer frame top and heavy tabletop connectors. Our tabletop came in three pieces and mounting was no problem.

I work in a office/warehouse and we have the sit/stand desks. They are great other than zero storage space so everything seems to clutter on top the desk. I was looking for a solution for multiple employees and found these drawers. One thing that this drawer has that a lot of others don't we looked at - there is a cross beam under our desks that prevented us from getting a drawer that was too deep. This was the only drawer we found that would work so it wouldn't stick out past the edge of the desk according to the dimensions. After installing (which was super easy and took a max total time of 5 minutes), just the handle part of the drawer isn't hidden under the desk, but it looks like that's the way it's suppose to be (see photo) and isn't in the way at all. *** Side note - when measuring the inside of the drawer for the depth of it (I'm ordering drawer organizers) the depth is 1 5/8" I couldn't find it anywhere in the description and thought it would be helpful to share.

Sturdy, well made, easy to install. Mounted to the bottom of a wood table office “desk” with the included screws. Helped a lot to keep work surface clear.

The drawer does not have full extension sliders. The effective use space of the drawer is only 6" in depth since it does not come out all of the way. Disappointing for a 12" deep drawer. The mounting brackets have no adjustments. I had to build up 1 1/3" pieces of wood under my table to mount it to. My tabletop has a rim around it and is not flush which I suspect is more normal. Would not buy again or recommend it. It is built very solid and works nice if you want a small drawer and don't mind fussing around with the installation.

This is a nice draw when you want to install under a work table I have read that it takes two people to install it from underneath because of its weight but I just turned the table upside down then installed it for a perfect fit in about 2 minuets

Delivered promptly. Very sturdy metal construction, easy to install with the supplied brackets. Make sure the wood of your table is hard enough because the whole drawer is pretty heavy. Very satisfied.

Why did you choose this product over others?: This is a very sturdy and sleek design. Contrary to earlier reviews the draw does extend and the full drawer is accessible. It’s not huge! But great for my needs and to keep my desk clear. One downside, it isn’t lockable as described. I’m not willing to knock a start of for this as it isn’t a deal breaker for me. It isn’t light so make sure what ever you are screwing it to can support it.
